I ordered an expensive Dyson item on the **** Friday sale on 11/29/21 and received a confirmation of my order and payment, and that it would be shipped within a day or two. I never heard anything else and after a week I called them. They then told me it was being shipped 'by one of their sellers' and they would email them and get them to contact me. WHAT? Their seller emailed me and said they 'didn't have the color' in the order (there was NO choice when ordering), and they said they 'only had purple'. I told them I didn't care what color I got, and why hadn't someone contacted me and told me any of this. They had no answer. They said since I would take the purple, they would 'ship is right away'. The next thing I know, a couple hours later I received another email saying they cancelled my order, with no explanation. It was now too late to find this popular hair dryer/styler anywhere else; They were sold out all over and all the sale prices were over. I ORDERED THROUGH NEWEGG AND THEY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING SURE I RECEIVED MY ORDER OR EVEN TO CONTACT ME!
There was no explanation as to why they just cancelled it after telling me it would 'ship right away'. If I hadn't called them a week or more after placing the order, I would still be waiting for something they had no intention of shipping. Suspiciously, I now see that the SAME DYSON PRODUCT IS LISTED FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE, AS IT WAS, ONLY NOW IT IS $100. MORE!
They obviously are NOT sold out! I can only conclude that they cancelled my order so they could now sell the item at the more expensive price. I would NEVER deal with these people again. PLEASE, if you read this, Newegg is a huge scam and they are crooks. DO NOT give them your business."

"Bought 2 CPU's from them with in the last 2 weeks saw today that the CPU's price had dropped by $30 each. Called Newegg and they would not honor their own price match guarantee. They also told me that the items were non-refundable as well. So that will be the last time I buy anything from Newegg as I am out $60. "

"I am going to make my long story short. Purchased a "Brand New" pc on 10/21... Received on 10/23 and that same day I called to notify of the issues. This PC had a CPU Temperature error and would not stay on passed 30 Seconds. I had to send it back which took another 5 days for them to receive the equipment. The equipment was received on 11/01, I was promised a 2-4 day process and a new one will be sent out. It is 11/18 on the day I write this review and I just received my first email from the company after my numeruos calls to inquire about the replacement. I ended up asking for a refund coincidentally the same day 11/11/21,they received word on the returned equipment. I was told the process would take 3-5 days... Once again its 11/18 and NOW is when this RMA was closed and I would have to wait ( you guessed it ) another 3-5 days... Once this ordeal is done, I would have exactly a month to finalize a process that other companies have finalized in hours... This company promises call backs and emails, for nothing ... If I could have put 0 stars , believe me I would.. I honestly wish the CEO or someone from corporate were to take their time and read this message or even listen to their recorded calls... That company is a shame"

I don't know if they're selling refurbished computers as new or pick the worst vendors they can find or what, but this is not a company to be trusted."

"After researching graphics cards I purchased on from new egg. After installing the card, it did not function properly. I spoke with the manufacturer's tech rep and the chipset tech rep, both said the card was defective. called new egg and was offered a refund or replacement and took a replacement. After finding a better deal on Amazon, i and ordered one from Amazon. I called new egg to change from replacement to refund. I was told that the item was non refundable. After duplicating the online sales process like oriningally did, I could not find this info. I was told that it was there. I found this detail in small light blue text at the bottom of the page after the comparable items section...who goes to the bottom to look at anything?
