"This review is for the customer service support team. I believe they tried to handle the situation as best as they could on their end. I would give 5 stars ONLY to their customer service support (Yolanda G. Cantu). I would not be in this situation if I knew the difference between their marketplace and the actual newegg. Apparently newegg marketplace is random sellers that use the "newegg" name to sell their items. I ordered a motherboard because my motherboard broke (Date: 04-01-2019). It was from a marketplace seller, but i did not know that at the time of order. I only knew something was up when I started receiving emails from the seller telling me that the product is brand new but they didnt have the original box. They told me they would send me part of my money back because of that. However, on arrival the motherboard was cracked on the edge. I was unhappy with the purchase and tried to return it. I got a RMA from Yolanda, but the funny thing was the seller was from outside of the US and could not make a shipping label for me. Telling me that I had to use more of my money to ship back their defective product. And they would reimburse me. Just as I was going to ship off the product, I received an email saying that my RMA was voided by the seller. I emailed the seller and asked why they voided the RMA and their reply to me was to go find a local computer store to fix it for me and they would reimburse me. I don't think they understand that I wanted a working computer part on arrival. I Ordered online due to convenience, but they wanted me to fix a defective item they shipped out to me. If that was the case I would have had them fix my own motherboard... Anyways, I ask Yolanda again to get me a new RMA#. She helped me quickly get a new RMA# and contacted the seller about the incident. (Although not much changed) I finally was able to ship off the product to Hopefully get my refund. On the newegg website they say to wait 3-5 days for the return to initiate once the seller has received it. They received the returned item on 5-1-2019. I got a notification that the person be the exact name signed for it. I waited 5 business days and yet no information on my refund. So I contact (5-7-2019) the seller asking why they haven't put it in the system for my refund. Only then did I get a new notification from newegg that my refund was being processed. Meaning I had to wait another couple days for my refund (5-9-2019). IT DOESNT END THERE. They charged me a restocking fee! For a darn $200 paper weight. I couldn't believe it because the item was defective and this seller is planning to restock it back on to the market. At this point talking to the seller was pointless. I had to reach out the Yolanda again and she cleared everything up. As well as refunding the rest of my money PLUS the shipping fee I had to pay out of MY OWN POCKET. I wish I could post the emails from the seller because only then would you be able to understand that I was dealing with this situation for a whole MONTH. My computer was not working for a whole month because some guy from china was trying to scam me of my money. Which also ended up wasting 1 month of my time... Only order from the market place and especially from some random chinese seller, if you have time on your hands to figure out what to do if they send you a scrap piece of garbage. And Newegg, you can thank your customer service support Yolanda for keeping me here and thinking about using your site. Customer Service: 5 out of 5, Random Chinese seller: 0 out of 5. Complete waste of time."

"sooo... I purchased a MOBO from them. turns out it wouldn't support my cpu. called to cancel. was told the vendor had to make that decision (was a partner in China). they had no clue as to how long or even if, or when i would get the charge credited. Nice... they get to keep my money for however long it takes to go through this... they didn't even know when the credit would be applied. ended up doing a chargeback with my bank. Last time i will ever purchase from them"

"Called up pretty angry. Knew not to take it out on the CSR. But I couldn’t help myself from talking fast and frantically as I urgently wanted to have this problem fixed and I already thought I had the cards stacked against me. I wasn’t in the same state that I ordered the item from, so no original packaging. Plus the product’s manufacturer gave me troubleshooting instructions that left me worse off than I was after delivery. They had me remove all the programs on it twice after I’d loaded it up with the few, but very large, games that I bought to play on it.
This all started as a simple (not really) hardware driver issues where the graphics card, or GPU, was not handshaking the motherboard. New egg was my last resort, because I didn’t want to return the laptop... but left with no choice, he pacified my feelings of betrayal as ASUS said they can’t help and don’t know how to help by reassuring that I would be able to return it for a full refund after all, and they’d pay for the shipping.
He saved the day for sure. I’ll definitely be buying the replacement and future items. from Newegg without a shadow of a doubt."
