"We purchased a product from Newegg and paid for 3 day shipping, the product was ready for pick up on Mar 30th, UPS picked it up April 1st (Monday) and was delivered April 5th. We contacted customer service and they informed us it was delivered on time and we would not receive any reimbursement for the shipping. Disappointed, so I we left a product review explaining what had happened with Newegg and it was never published. We left feedback with Newegg and they never responded. So I am here leaving a review about Newegg and they can't stop us from posting it. I know it's only a few bucks but we paid for a service, that service was not met, and then we were told "things like this just happen" from Newegg's Customer Service. "

"When the laptop was dropped off, it came in an empty box that was too large for the laptop, with no protective packaging or "fragile" labels. The box was beat up and barely staying together. I had considered sending it back at that moment, since they took no more care with an $800 laptop than to throw it into an empty box and ship it, but I went ahead and plugged the laptop in for use to check it out anyway.
After 5 hours of the laptop being plugged in (a portion of this time was used to set it up), I came back and unplugged it; it died immediately. I plugged it back in and looked at the charging information, where it had not risen above 0% and read that it was not charging. During this time I had noticed obvious wear on the keyboard, which does NOT come with open box items. Per definition, this means the customer opened the box, didn't like it and returned it quickly in the original packaging with everything complete. This had NO packaging, obvious wear, and it is broken. While it being broken may have had something to do with the incompetence of the company during packaging, it is certainly not open box, and I assume was only described as such to mark it at a higher price on their website.
At this point I call the company to see what I can do. They then tell me that even though my receipt states it is open box, it is actually a refurbished laptop. Surprise, right? Due to it being labeled as an open box, I cannot leave a review on their website, per their policy. I ask for another one, but they are out of stock and cannot do that. I ask for the laptop to be sent out, repaired, and returned to me, and they cannot do that either. My only option is to get a refund on the laptop and wait another couple weeks as I take time to find and order another. While I am happy I at least got my money back, I do not recommend ordering from this company. I have read enough of the reviews on other laptops they sell about people getting completely different laptops, different processors, and broken pieces to realize this is a trend in their service. "
"Newegg has been a great website to browse and purchase many items over the years. Unfortunately, I ran into a poor interaction with a third party seller on their site. I purchased a laptop, but the third party seller (IPC Store) not only didn't have that item but sent me a simple desktop in its place. Newegg's customer service provided excellent service giving notice multiple times to IPC Store and helped me through the return process.
Newegg has been a great site, but they need to keep a close eye on the third party sellers that they deal with."

"I had a complex case with a Panasonic camera (still under warranty), they could not repair it at their plant nor could they tell me were to send it to get it repaired. After much back and forth (9 months worth), Newegg stepped in and saved the day by issuing me a rebate. I cannot tell you how happy I was about that.
