"When I had trouble with my computer build, I wasn't sure what was the problem and called them to see if they could help me out and Raz(the guy who helped me) help guide me through troubleshooting the build itself to find out exactly what was the problem and have it resolved fast for me."

painless

"I had to return and replace a defective drive and cancel and receive credit on Square Trade warranty, I was told the S T was an extended warranty , but it is not, so why have it. afater having said all of this the young man at Newegg got my three invoices and rectified every thing . I have a new drive on the way, cancelled my S.T warranty, and received all my due credits, he was awesome ."

Friendly and expedient service

"I put in an order on some expensive computer parts not knowing until I already ordered them that I sent them to an older address I no longer reside in. I called customer service and after only one phone call they were able to edit my shipping information to my current address, avoiding having to cancel my order and possibly waiting days for a refund only to make the same order. I haven't been a frequent customer of Newegg but after finding they beat a few prices on parts I was looking for *and* we're able to fox my hiccup that same day I'll likely find my way back to them for future purchases."

Excellent customer service.

"On March 1st I ordered a computer and received the usual emails from Newegg. However after on March 8th, I had yet to receive any additional word about the order. I called Newegg support and was introduced to Edmund. He was very polite, eager to help, and quickly took steps to rectify my issue. The excellent customer support made up for the admittedly lackluster shipping on the part of the third party supplier, but these things happen. People seem quick to allow one bad experience taint the rest of what had been a normal transaction. Edmund made me feel confident that support would get to the bottom of my issue and I will definitely use Newegg for my personal business again in the future."

Voids orders for no reason, customer service was no help

"I purchase from a lot of online vendors, but this is the only one that repeatedly voids orders for no reason, refusing to allow them to go through, despite more than adequate funds being available on a credit card used regularly for purchases.

I experienced this personally with a refurbished Acer Grade A Desktop Computer Aspire TC TC-885-UR12 that I attempted to order on three occasions, the third time, their customer service department put the order through themselves, and they claimed that it had gone through.
Despite this, the funds still remained on the card, and I still received an email indicating that the order had been voided, just as I had the other two times.

Very disappointed, would have expected that after talking to their support for hours, they could still not find a reason that these orders were being voided, and worse yet, falsely claimed that they successfully put the order through on their end, only for that to turn out not to be the case.

From some searching online, this issue appears to be fairly common, which is disappointing.
I trust NewEgg less than my ex.

Excellent product, excellent srvc.

"Customer srvc. is always excellent @ NewEgg. I was excited to find such an excellent product. Cancelled order after local police Sgt. informed me that the safety & related issues I was needing surveillance f/, would be gone @ end of month (w/ an eviction next door). So he advised scale back the Intel. So tho I was excited to find this excellent awesome product, to save the expense of installation, a new light fixture, etc., I cancelled my order. BUT, I did send the Newegg item link to the Sgt., & suggested maybe this product would really help & enhance the city's Intel, & replace Shot Spotter w/ a far more excellent product & system to help the police officers do an excellent even more efficient job, making best use of the manpower & resources they do have, & making their jobs easier by giving them real time data & alerts that helps them, that they can use.
It's been a real pleasure & a huge blessing to have Newegg's excellent customer service help. & Independent Seller was excellent too.

Incompetent

"I ordered a laptop. They sent it via Fedex, which means it was delivered to a random house in the neighborhood. The email showed it was delivered, so I spent about two hours wandering around checking my neighbors' doorsteps, knocking on a few doors to find my package.

Once I found it, the box contained a laptop. Nothing else. No power cord. No paperwork. No receipt. Nothing. With no power cord a laptop is an expensive paperweight.

Customer service said they would send me a power cord within a week. They didn't. Attempts to deal with customer service were... well, it's customer service. Once they have your money, they don't care. Newegg certainly did not care. A week went by, nothing. No cord. Still a paperweight, not a laptop.

Newegg's return policy is filled with details you should know about. They charge you for the return shipping. They charge you a "restocking" fee of $48. My item was shipped from another supplier, but Newegg still required a restocking fee for an item they never stocked in the first place.

I will NEVER do business with these -----s again.
