Great customer service

"Newegg has great customer service. Carlos was very professional and handled the situation very well. The situation was where Newegg cancelled an order with a $50 coupon code, and according to the e-mail the order needs to be placed again, and it was a special coupon code which happened to have expired the next day where I tried placing the exact same order, Carlos was able to honor the $50 coupon code, this is what I call doing business. There are businesses out there that try to charge customers as much as they can, but Newegg is able to honor the lowest prices that are fair. This is what I call great customer service. Mistakes happen, but as a business, if the order was placed, and it was cancelled because of one problem or another, the business should be able to honor the lowest advertised and or after coupon code price. This is what I call a honest business with great customer service. "

"I had ordered a Christmas gift before the thanksgiving day nonsense. Somehow fedex had managed to mess it up even when I jumped through all of their hoops. Audrey.A.Yannone my customer service rep. not only helped me correct the problem, but was able to get it at original purchase price. She helped me out more by looking into what had happened and why I wasn't notified. She then made the shipping work faster and got it corrected. Yeah the wait on hold might take a while but in my experience with Audrey.A.Yannone she absolutely slays customer service. "

Johnathan saves the day

"Long stort short, I bought a new MOBO, CPU, and RAM to upgrade my computer. Thing is, I’m not a fan of Windows 10, and so I purchased Windows 8.1, HUGE MISTAKE, on my part atleast, I did not read carefully, but the motherboard I purchased, is only compatible with Windows 10! Huge upset. I called up, granted I was on hold for alittle, it was all worth it in the end when Johnathan answered. He did not inturrupt me, was extremely patient and helped me to the best of his ability, I felt. I had called Microsoft prior to see if they can just help me, TERRIBLE support from them if I must say so myself. Johnathan asked me exactly which Windows 10 I wanted, put the difference I paid for Windows 8.1 towards the Windows 10, and ALSO made me type up the item number on Newegg to confirm that this is EXACTLY what I want. Man I wish all companies had customer service like newegg, these guys NEVER dissappoint! "

Defective motherboard return

"The wait in the queue was very long (over an hour), but Alvin L. was courteous and friendly. I got my RMA quickly, with a minimum of fuss. I've been a loyal Newegg customer for over 10 years, but this was my first return.

ASRock appears to have a quality control issue, since I received 2 defective motherboards in a row (the original and the initial replacement). I bought an ASUS motherboard locally (since my computer had been down for a week and I couldn't wait anymore, even for next day shipment).

Bought a scooter that became cheaper on Amazon two weeks later and got the price matched

"Super impressed with NewEgg right now: I bought an electric scooter on Black Friday only to find out two weeks later that Amazon was offering it for $50 cheaper during a brief sale. After about a 15 minute wait on the phone and a 5 minute conversation (mostly holding while the service rep located and spoke with a manager) I was able to get a refund. Super impressed that NewEgg would match Amazon's prices! Really happy customer."

Shopping on Black Friday

"I bought a couple thousand dollars worth of parts during the Black Friday weekend and it was great. Newegg offers great prices and doesn't charge tax in most states so I was able to save 10% on top of the ongoing sales. Shipping varies as it takes time to process the order and payment verification so it actually might take a week or more to get your items, however this is during their busiest time of the year. I wanted to return a few items, to my dismay, I found out that some are non-refundable online but when I called customer service I was told I had to wait 5-6 hours to speak to a representative. I waited a few day after Cyber Monday to call again and after a 10 minute wait they explained I could return the items so long as I didn't open any of them. Within a few hours they emailed me a free RMA shipping label for a full refund. "

"Having received a damaged motherboard during shipping, at no fualt of Newegg, Jasper B. quickly and clearly was able to verify the damage, approve next day shipping at no cost for the replacement, as well as reduce the new price of the replacement motherboard to match that of when I originally ordered the damaged one. Instead of asking for me to return the damaged product first, he went ahead and sent out a new one so I wouldn't have to wait for the damaged product to reach them first. Excellent guy, probably the best customer service experience I've personally ever had. The world needs more understanding and patient people like Jasper in everyday life. Top notch guy, would buy him a beer if possible!"

Excellent service, patience, and understanding.

"While the hold time was a bit high, (NOT HER FAULT, ITS HOLIDAY SO ITS TO BE EXPECTED), The service was worth the wait. I had recently purchased a brand new graphics card from Newegg, who had the best price and promotion at time of purchase, and everything was great. However the card was acting up and I opted to contact the vendor instead of Newegg for a solution. They pretty much gave me the run around. It was an $800 20 series graphics card that was less than 3 weeks old, so naturally I was not happy to have to go back and fourth. Finally I contacted Newegg and was lucky enough to be connected with Alicia. Alicia was Patient, Understanding to my experience, and offered me solutions. She worked with me as if she put herself in MY shoes and said "What if that were me?" The end result was an exchange by purchasing a new one and then getting free shipping return on the original one. I was even able to receive a different promotion I was not expecting, talk about wowing the customer! Thanks to Alicia being, in my experience, the face of Newegg, I will be continuing to shop through Newegg. Thank you Alicia and keep up the good work!!!"
