Eggcellent Customer Service

"I have been buying from newegg for years and have always been happy. Today I was helped with a return issue by Alvin L. He managed my concern within the first minute of my chat session and stayed on the line while I confirmed everything. I am still a satisfied customer.

I always shop newegg.com for computer equipment and buy there 99% of the time too. I recently built a new computer and when I got my new monitor I found 2 dead pixels. The manufacturer's website indicated it would not be covered, but I called newegg anyway and they sent me RMA info (after sharing my bummed feelings on the defective new monitor) with no hassles. I used ShipRunner shipping so maybe that's why there was no return shipping, I'm not 100% sure on that.

I did have a small hassle on getting the new monitor - it was right at the end of the year and my monitor didn't show up when I expected it, instead I received an email that my refund was being processed. I called and they didn't have any in stock so they were refunding rather than exchanging. I asked for options because I wanted that monitor at my price and they said if I ordered a new one (it was on backorder on the site) they would refund me the difference after I had the invoice. I did (luckily I got the order processed in time because 2 hours later I couldn't order another on the site) and now have the new monitor as well as the refund. I couldn't use ShopRunner for this replacement order so I took their EggSaver shipping option. I talked to another rep who said they'd refund the shipping as well, but I haven't asked for that yet. It was only $2.99 so even without it, I'm still overall very happy.

"Okay so for whatever reason NEWEGG decided to break my order up into 5 SEPARATE charges. So obviously my bank froze my card and most of the transactions didn't go through. However, my bank still put a hold on 1600 dollars that were supposed to be used for my computer build. After WAITING FOR 2 and 1/2 FREAKEN hours to get in contact with NEWEGG and finally I got a call back from this wonderful person. He is the sole reason that I am giving 5 stars. He helped me solve all of my issues and contacted my bank so they would release the funds. He is a blessing and I hope great thing happen for him.

As far as my experience with the website and trying to give them money it was a train wreck and I hope that the company can get there head out of there rear end and fixes it. For that experience, I would give negative stars if I could.

To reiterate RJ.A.Rosales IS A BOSS and he was the only good thing that came out of this experience. I am considering not finishing my purchase with NEWEGG due to the failure on their part to streamline the user experience. I do hope that you continue doing what you ARE NOT doing. Maybe you can get some inspiration from another online service like AMAZON. I wonder if they have what I am looking for?

Great Service, More then I ask for

"I only have a issue with payment, but then Customer Rep (Rick) not only try to help my payment. He even also gave me some good advice on the stuff I've purchase in order to build my first PC. I wasn't even expecting a Rep knowing anything more then parts, but Rick gave me advice for future for addition on PC. Not only he know what I was talking about, he was also friendly and was patient with what questions I have. "

Excellent service

"I had found a dead pixel in my monitor and needed it advance-replaced since it was my only one. It took a bit to get ahold of them (Black Friday, go figure), but all they asked for was a picture of the dead pixel to have it advance-replaced. Wonderful customer service! Thanks Newegg!"

Wonderful support staff!

"I ran into an issue where I needed to change the shipping address but wasn't able to with FedEx directly. Despite being the day before Thanksgiving and the 100+ minute hold, I opted to have them call me back so I could focus on other things. After I received the call, within a few minutes of verifying my account the shipping address was updated and I won't have to wait until Monday evening to build my new computer! I've used Newegg occasionally since 2004 and can't recall a bad experience!"

Best customer Service

"As a re seller, we buy a lot of equipment through Newegg. Unfortunately, one of our packages was not delivered and after an investigation, the package was long gone. I called Customer Support for the RMA . i Spoke to Anayeli.A.Ochoa - who was the BEST person i could possibly speak with. She was so nice and understanding and took all my worry and stress away.
The situation was not ideal, and i know it's not great to ask for you money back on a lost package. But Anayeli helped me out so fast and didn't take up any of my time. She is the best. I am glad i now know who i will call if i have an issue again.
