"I had a defective computer that was outside the warranty from newegg.com, but I had not even had the compute for a year so I was quite frustrated that it broke down after just a few months of having it. I called Apple and they would not replace the computer. I did have to spend a lot of time on the phone with Newegg.com, and occasionally I had a very long wait time with them--however, the end result was that they took my computer back and will refund me or send me a brand new one. I appreciate that they went out of their way to help me in this regard. Thank you for the people at newegg.com that helped me! Also, just FYI some customer service agents are much more helpful than others. If you don't get a good person on the phone just call back another time. Or ask for a supervisor. Someone will eventually help you!"
"I ordered 3 monitors at a great price and 2 days later my order was canceled due to a fraud alert based on a new shipping address. Kind of a pain, but ultimately it was a large order and I appreciate the extra precaution. After 2 quick calls I got everything sorted out at the original cost, even though the price of the monitors had risen dramatically in a few days. "Purchased a Dell battery for my laptop from Newegg. 11 months later it quit working and had a bulge and cracks on it. Since there was a good chance it was "ready to explode" I contacted Dell since the battery had a year warranty.
Talk about getting the run around. After numerous transfers within Dell, I finally gave up.
Called CS at Newegg (Jamie F.) She knew firsthand about runarounds at Dell and went above and beyond in helping me fill out a form that would get me past all the rest of the red tape. Spent all the time I needed to fill out the form and even coached me on how to take pictures properly of the battery and send it to her.

"I just want to give a shout-out to two great customer service representatives: Matthew Thompson and Elise Verduzco.
When I needed to cancel my order with a 3rd party company, Matthew was very kind and helpful. He thoroughly ensured my order was canceled by calling, leaving a message, *and* emailing the external company regarding the cancellation. Additionally, he gave me good advice on what to do in the case that the cancellation did not go through. I appreciate his time and effort.
When the call with Matthew ended, I expected to receive an over-the-phone survey, but my phone disconnected before I was able to. I wanted to ensure Matthew received the praise he deserved, so I called Customer Service again to see if I could get another survey. That's where Elise came in. She was very kind, personable, and helpful as she pointed me to this review website. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to provide a survey response for her either (my phone wouldn't have it), so I'm providing a review for Elise here as well.

"Ordered and received a GT Omega Racing Gaming chair for my son's birthday. Chair arrived without the screws to build the chair. I called Newegg and was told by their Customer Service that they could not help me unless I wanted to return the chair (huge box) and that I should contact the manufacturer myself even though this is a new chair! (Manufacturer is in the UK) I said "No wonder everybody else I know orders everything through Amazon". The Representative told me, my issue was not "on them" since they are simply a Reseller. I disagree, you should be able to help a customer directly and accept responsibility for your partnerships. We have ordered gaming and computer items from Newegg for years in the past but never again. Nice way to lose not just my business but the business of my two sons who will be paying consumers for many years to come. "
