"I've been having a nightmare trying to get a 2080Ti. I ordered one from newegg that got immediately declined by my CC company, and when newegg finally had more in stock, I tried to order it - only to be told it was invalid because I had an outstanding order. I was perplexed as I thought my order had been canceled. I called newegg and Frank Mayer went above and beyond in helping me figure out exactly what was happening with the order, far beyond the other help I have received from Amazon and the like. I had meant to order with overnight shipping, but didn't. I wanted to change shipping from the 2 day I had selected to overnight, which would have cost more of course. Frank was very astute and suggested that I not do that, for it would kick my order out and have to reverify as the charges would have gone up. He went above and beyond fixing this shipping issue for me and I am extremely satisfied with my service."

Called Newegg and spoke with Earl. He explained the policy, but wanted to make sure we were happy. He pulled a few strings and refunded the difference. "I found a monitor on Newegg. Price was excellent for the unit. Called to place order on the phone (I NEVER put my CC# into my PC keyboard!) and for whatever reason, the price showed (to them) as almost $200 more! They checked and checked, then asked for a screen shot. I sent it to them and they said they would do an "investigation". Being stubborn and in REALLY bad need of a monitor, I asked to speak to a Supervisor.
Her name was Alicia and she looked over my issue, the screen shots I sent and heard about the scenario from my original call handler ... then she put me on hold, worked her magic and made everything right! Apparently, their prices change ALL the time with markets, availability, vendor pricing, etc. She explained this, kindly and precisely.
Well, as it happened, the price for my monitor changed in the very moments between when I found it on their site and when the handler went to place the order. Technically, not anyone's fault, just a fact of the way the system works ... but she worked her magic and charged me the price I had shown her on my screen shot!

"I tried to purchase a computer monitor from NewEgg because it was the only place I was able to find what I was looking for (ergonomic adjustability, 17-21", widescreen, under $130). I tried 2 credit cards and a debit card, each of which is current, had more than enough available balance, and has up to date information (address, etc.). Each of my cards was declined, multiple times. I checked and rechecked the entries prior to submitting to make sure the issue wasn't a simple typo. I logged in to each of the cards to confirm there were no alerts/issues and to confirm the balances were sufficient. The next day I requested a customer service chat. After about an hour I was greeted by Lynette. I explained my issue and that I had confirmed there were no issues with the cards. Lynette asked if I had contacted the card issuers to check whether there was any issue. I had not, I don't have the time to waste to call three separate cardholders, wait in queue, explain the issue 3x, only to be told there is no issue. Since I had logged in to each one to confirm no alerts, flags or balance issues, I knew it was a moot point. Rather than offer ANY sort of alternate solution or out-of-the-box thinking or empathy (how about we walk through the payment entry together perhaps, or she try to process on her end?), Lynette repeated that I would need to contact the card issuers and then retry my payment methods. I told her I would purchase an alternate selection on Amazon (which was a 2nd choice to due limited adjustability). She had no response. I successfully ordered the alternate on Amazon using the same debit card, and it was processed in 2 minutes."
