"Recently purchased an oem copy of windows 10pro when it came time to activate the license for windows there was an error that would not allow me to activate windows. I ended up opening a support claim unfortunately i needed to deal with Microsoft on the issue. After calling Microsoft and getting the run around I was told that I would need to have a conference call between Microsoft and Newegg. Darrel who was helping me was great Microsoft not so much. After being transferred 8 times with Microsoft and finally getting to someone that can help almost an hour later. Darrel managed to get my copy of windows to be fully activated."

"Used to trust and love shopping here. Newegg did and still does have great deals. They process orders in a timely fashion. However, this time they dropped the ball.
Here's a retail gaming related company that should value their gaming customers. You pre-order a video game expecting to receive the day it's released or at least the day after. As with any of these online merchants which I've dealt with in the past. Instead, they ship it the day before with snail mail. I'm less than 20 miles away from their shipping facility. No reason it should take almost a week to receive a pre-order once it's released. Shipping this purchase with ground shipping would have insured it's timely arrival. I might as well have gone to the retail store and save yourself a headache. They offer a savings on game pre-orders that's not worth the wait and hassle of trying to resolve the painfully slow shipping issue.
As for customer service, it's almost non-existent. Waited 45 minutes to speak to someone. Only to tell me there's nothing they can do because it's already shipped and I just need to wait for it to arrive. Didn't even offer to provide me a return label. Now I'll have to wait at-least another 45 minutes to request a return since this isn't eligible for returns unless approved by an representative. Their agents show no empathy with their customer's issues or concerns. They can't wait to get you off the phone. In the end, you feel absurd for even trying.

"Super disappointed, I ordered a Computer from Newegg but never got it. Called them and they put a claim that would take 5 to 7 days to be resolved (good customer service) . Since Newegg was highly recommended and I needed the computer right away I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a Second computer for next day delivery before getting my refund. That was last Thursday, today is Tuesday and by checking the tracking number I found out the computer was not shipped out yet. I called them and once again I was told to put a claim on the SECOND computer. I got really upset and was told that there is nothing Newegg could about it until Newegg found out what was going on. I cancelled the order but the damage was already done. I could not used my credit card because the purchase of the computers had put me over the limit ($1,840.00 each). I know I will get my refunds but Thanks to Newegg I have to pay interest in the money I spent with them plus now I have to borrow money to buy a new computer for a far away frustrated college kid who by now has probably disown me. "
