"I recently purchased a Lenovo laptop from Newegg. When I finally received my computer it made a very loud whining fan noise almost constantly. It also only lasted 2 hours on a full charge even though it was advertised as being able to last 7 hours on a full charge. I called Newegg and was told I could return it for a full refund. I was then charged a $140.00 restocking fee. I've called 5 times to try to rectify the situation. Every time I am told that they will take of the situation and give me a call back. I've never received a call. I still have not been refunded my restocking fee. It's been several weeks. I will never buy from Newegg again. I will also tell my friends, family, and anyone who will listen about my experience. The fan noise is well documented BTW on Lenovo's own support forums. Just google it."

"TL;DR - Javier J. Chavez is a wonderful CSR who went above and beyond his normal duties to fully resolve my concerns!
I mistakenly had the wrong shipping address set as my default and didn't realize until the item was already being packaged for shipment (at which point the order cannot be changed). Immediately I contacted newegg about this and was told that the shipping address would be corrected as soon as possible. There was a bit of a misunderstanding, and long story short(er), the carrier never received the address change request. Fast forward one day and I was dismayed to see that the package was out for delivery to the above mentioned incorrect address. Again, I contacted the carrier, who told me to contact newegg, and I was fortunate to be connected with Javier who not only listened to my concerns, but was willing to try my suggestion of simply contacting the carrier to approve the address change. He did just that, problem solved, happy happy newegg customer (yet again)!
