"NewEgg customer service employees Darrel and RJ helped me solve my issues with one of their Marketplace reseller company that had shipped me the wrong product. The kind of third party reseller with minimal after-sale support half-hidden in a store policy huge wall-o-text of "legaleze".
These 2 NewEgg employees almost jumped on trying to help me as much as possible. Apparently they seem to really strive to improve their MarketPlace third party resellers reputation too, not just their own NewEgg-only store. Quite solid client support guarantees there with NewEgg!
I felt like being "held in hand" firmly and that, with them, no problem would be insurmountable. I didn't feel like other companies where they make you feel like you're just a number and they try to get rid of you quickly. Instead, they made me feel like they cared as much as me about solving the problem and would do whatever it takes. And they did. Overall, they dissolved my fears quite smoothly. They just made me feel much more secure.
As much as I was displeased with the reseller, I was even more impressed by the quality of NewEgg's support policies. Their employees are EXTREMELY helpful and patient and VERY polite, and, most of all, very competent. Doesnt feel like client support was outsourced to another country where the employee speaks only broken english, but true service by very dedicated professionnals instead. For me, NewEgg sets a new level of quality standard here. Even though I had to waste hours of my time solving this problem, ending with me not getting the product I wanted at all, they made sure I got a full refund including for the return shipment fees. They surely spent as much time as me on solving this RMA.
Simply put, NewEgg sets the bar as high as logically possible and it shows. Maybe I just got lucky a got 2 top-notch employees, but I think it's the overall NewEgg attitude for most of them there. This kind of top-notch service is the one thing that makes me sure that I'll buy from NewEgg more in the future.

"I bought a QQLinx Owl Eye dash cam from Newegg, and was dissatisfied after using the product. It was too non-discreet, the screen always had to be on while recording, and the loop recording didn't work as expected. I put in the request for a refund, but the online form was telling me the cost of the shipping label would be deducted from the total refund, which was ~$27 (nearly half the refund). When I called customer support, they were able to issue me a label and cover the cost. I've never had such a large cost for return with my Amazon purchases so I was glad to hear that it would also be the case for Newegg."

"Purchased a 2 year warranty package from "Local Cover" only to find out that it was not an extended warranty. The item purchased came with a 3 year warranty, so no need to have the double warranty.
Contacted Newegg and spoke with a great customer service representative named Mercy.A.Loaiza (taken from email received) and she understood my plea for a refund on the warranty package. She proceeded very efficiently and with a very pleasant attitude while processing the refund for the warranty package. Now just need to wait for the payment
to be refunded back to my payment account.
I have purchased numerous items from Newegg and will be purchasing even more in the future!

"The day that I was escalated to Nate - I was IRATE because the computer I had ordered had come with a damaged power supply & after dealing with 5-7 different people to help resolve my issue over the span 4 days and 15 hours of being on the phone, I finally was able to power on my new computer and it was defective. I had deadlines to meet and needed a working computer and I was angry and stressed.
It was obvious by tone and demeanor that this was not going to be an easy call for him.
He immediately took control of the call - and maintained it throughout - even when I became angry or emotional, he never lost his composure - always remaining calm, cool and assertive. His commitment to resolve the issue in the best interest of the company but also have me feeling positive and proud of my purchase - executed perfectly, with finesse.
With my previous knowledge of working Dell for 4 years in their call center in various roles, he really impressed me - especially when I found out he had only been promoted into this department a year ago.
When that call ended I was ecstatic and felt so good about doing business with Newegg and will continue to only because of Nate. Thank you for your help Nate - and I think you should be promoted be a trainer to show people how to handle escalations and high maintenance women properly. Thank you Newegg for hiring such great company ambassadors keep up the good work!"
"Julien H. Balderas was very helpful and super awesome to deal with. We received the initial order, but unfortunately the computer had a faulty Fan. Dealing with Julien made this experience in the end wonderful, as he was able to help us with the Return for the laptop computer and then order the same Model laptop with a price adjustment to match our initial purchase price.

"Renee R. Rodriguez called me back quickly. I informed her that, to my big surprise, the chosen delivery firm, Purolator, dropped the package onto my concrete balcony. I heard the thump from inside my brick house. The deliveryman rang the doorbell and ran immediately back to his truck. As I opened the door, he was already driving off. As the value of the shipment was in excess of $1000, I would have thought that a signature would have been required. If I understood Renee correctly, it is my responsibility to ensure that a signature is required. Meanwhile, this high value package labelled Newegg could have easily been stolen. Certainly, neither of UPS nor FedEx shows this lack of package security."
"Alicia.A.Barocio was my assistant on the phone. She found my order in the system , double checked herself if there is a solution she can offer without contacting supervisor. Unfortunately there was not and she offered to contact supervisor herself to see if they can do anything about it. And they did. In the end she offered a gift card. Which is a great solution for the issue I had.

"I always have a great experience with NewEgg and definitely share with other buyers. This time, however, I purchased computer RAM provided by a 3rd party (Direct-Worldwide) through NewEgg. What I received wasn't what I ordered and didn't work. I tried for 2 weeks with Worldwide to get the proper RAM shipped out but they were not helpful. I then spoke with NewEgg who very helpfully arranged a refund and will pay for shipping to return the items which were sent. Bottom line: I am still a loyal NewEgg customer, but will be very wary about dealing with the 3rd party suppliers. I also won't deal with Direct-WorldWide again. "
"Had my NAS throw a drive over the weekend. Went to the interweb to find a replacement drive and newegg.ca had the WD Red that I was looking for at the best price. Price was good enough to convince me to buy 2 of them so I can complete the long term goal of adding a Hot Spare to the system. I could wait for the free shipping, but reading the smallish print it looked like it could take the best part or more of a week to get the new drive. The expedited shipping was an extra $20ish but on 2 drives the total was still $30 per drive lower than the amazon price for same product with Prime, so added the faster shipping.
Low and behold, order picked and shipped on the Monday, faster than the quoted time frame and the delivery was the next day to Fredericton.
