- Summary of the problem of why I'm calling: The case that I ordered was defective. Lights and fans weren't working.
- Due to me not having any form of transportation, Merrik went above and beyond and scheduled a pickup for my defective computer case. (He could have just told me that theirs nothing that we can do, and that I'll have to drop it off at a neighboring post office, but nope he went above and beyond.)
- Merrik also decided that that wasn't enough, and instead of making we wait until the package arrives back at the warehouse, he ordered an express delivery to my residence. (Again, he didn't have to, but he did because he gets it.)
- Merrik was empathetic about my situation and was invested in providing the best customer support possible.

All in all, for an added summary, Merrik is a phenomenal customer service representative. He's the type of model employee any company would dream of having.

"Ordered a complete computer from newegg.ca with "newegg" as the seller to be sure everything would be good and fast. Some parts arrived fast but other parts weeks later.. Not able to build a computer without all parts. At this point, buying and shipping directly from China appear to be cheaper, with a faster shipping time and probably a better customer service.
I contacted newegg customer service for a solution, support was bad at first and they just asked me to "wait"... For them, deadlines are "normal".

"When I received my refund from Newegg, it was not for the amount that I had expected. After speaking to one agent, I was transferred to Hailey. After explaining the situation that led to my not being refunded the full amount. Hailey went to bat for me and got me the full amount refunded as a one time credit which made up for other challenges I had in past when trying to get the refund submitted at the start of the process.
