He offered to call me back to update me on my status because I wanted to price match a product I bought last night which dropped in price significantly. Although my credit card was already charged he ensured me that this will be handled once the system allows him to edit the purchase.

The scary part of buying anything online is the crazy price drops but I have full confidence purchasing from newegg because they have really competent customer service reps to help out.

"I received a laptop that had a faulty battery, which should have been detected before it was sold to me. When I contacted support, I was told to contact HP that it was under warranty with them. When I contacted HP I was told NO that laptop is passed it's warranty but they did run a few diagnostic tests on my laptop and told me the battery needed to be replaced. When I called Newegg back again (not happy at this point) I was told I could not get a refund, they would not replace the battery.. I had to return it for an exchange .. Here's hoping the next one works better :("

More details: I wanted to return a motherboard that I had not opened but on my order page it said I could not initiate a refund because it was not eligible but because I had not opened it there was no problem getting a refund, all I had to do was contact newegg and it was so easy. 10\10"
