"Patrick was 100% helpful. He helped out when I needed a fan and didn't hold anything back to help me. Newegg is the best for pc parts and I highly recommend them to anyone!"
"I would just like to say that Newegg.ca did an excellent job with my ram order. The item arrived within just a few days & it was very well packaged. Thanks Newegg. You Guys Rock"
"I ordered a videocard, paid express shipping and I was not happy to see that the part came from california. I had assumed Newegg.ca had parts warehouses in Canada stocked. I am still waiting for the part to arrive, I have never had to wait a week for a part when I select express shipping, generally I get the item within 3 days. I expressed my anger over this situation with Newegg and they offered to give me a gift card to smooth things over. I am still unhappy with the way things are, I would have been much happier to have had my part on time. I trust other sites( direct canada) much more and I always have my parts in 2-3 days. I think Newegg should have more stock here in Canada so we would not have to wait so long for our orders.
Thanks, "
"I order a lot of thing from new egg and I never had any problem! I order many different thing and no problem with any thing and I got a very good and fast service"
"I've ordered a few things from Newegg and love their service and pricing....Plus they have a great selection. "
"Newegg.ca is the best computer store on the web period!
I only hope I could order also from Newegg.com and Neweggbusiness.com, but those 2 are forbidenn to Canadian...
I'm self employed working in the 3D animation industry. So I need a lot of computer stuff for my work. I buy everything on the web since more than 10 years so I am now an expert at finding good deals on the web and finding the best stores.
I buy from other good stores too like ncix.com, tigerdirect,ca and bhphotovideo.com but if I have to choose the best one I don't hesitate a second: NEWEGG! their prices are hard to match and the shipping speed is incredible. The information about products is always complete with pictures and also the exact link to the manufacturer webpage for each products! If there is a problem it's always very fast to be addressed. I bought many items from them over the years and I saved thousands and thousands of dollars thanks to their low prices.
I found that it's better to order a computer in parts from Newegg at low price and then if there is a problem I just have to go to the post office and ship back the bad piece and I receive the good one back a few days later. Compare to other computer places (Apple store to not name it!) where you pay double price and you have to bring the heavy whole computer to the downtown crowded store and wait there for hours...
I hope Newegg will stay the same."
"Ordered a hard-drive from newegg.ca and after a few days, when I received the tracking number I saw that Purolator said it needed an address correction. I checked the address I put on the invoice and it was perfectly correct. Then I went on newegg.ca and talked to a customer service rep. They told me that everything is fine, even though the tracking says it's incorrect and I should disregard that. After a week, I receive through e-mail and RMA form. Then again I went to newegg.ca and a csr tells me they will refund my money because the item came back to them. That's by far the worst service I ever received and since I needed the hard drive, it's very disappointing that a company so big can just waste their clients time and patience. Basically 2 weeks wasted waiting for a hard-drive and in the end didn't even get it. Plus had to wait for my refund.
Very poor customer service since I even let them know something is wrong in time, and definitely will not shop with them ever again. So if you see address correction, that means you will not get your item because apparently they cannot contact Purolator and let them know something is wrong or try to fix it, which makes no sense since they are the ones shipping the item with Purolator.
EDIT: on Sept.30.10.
After saying all those things about newegg.ca I will take back everything. In the end they did come through and actually a customer service rep contacted me and made sure I get my harddrive as soon as possible. He sent one on their cost to cover all their problems and sent it express. Actually it came so quick that I received it the next day. I have to say newegg.ca made sure and went out of their way to keep me as their customer. They do deliver even though sometimes mistakes happen. Thank you and in the end they deliver great service and I will definetly shop there again.

"Great price, SUper fast shipping and great product. I will buy again. "
"This is my first time buying from Newegg and it could very well be my last.
I ordered a video card from newegg, and the card arrived with lower memory clock (667MHZ) compared to what is listed at newegg website (800MHZ). I brought up the issue through the live chat and I was assured that I would be notified as soon as they finish checking the memory clock of their inventory. However, after more than one week of waiting, there was no update whatsoever. Finally I wrote an email to the rep who did the livechat with me, only to receive this reply "I have already sent an email to you on 9/13 as we do not list 800MHz
core clock speed. Unfortunately, we are unable guarantee the information
we do not post at our site."
I did not receive any emails on 9/13 since it was the date I brought up the issue, and I doubt newegg can check so quickly. Moreover, the rep was talking about core clock speed when what I want to check is memory clock.
At the end, I took screenshots from newegg website and also from GPU-Z, highlighting the difference in memory clock. This time I received reply claiming the inventory has been checked as correct, and I can place a new order for the item.
Needless to say, I will not place a new order since I am doubtful if any checking was actually performed.
Update on 10/2:
Maverick called me on 9/29 to get an understanding of the whole situation. He assured me that he will ask a warehouse specialist to check out the video card in question and I will be notified as soon as possible.
On 10/1, I received the notification of Customer Care Gift card and I assume this means Newegg found out they had listed the wrong specification.
I appreciate Maverick for his quick help and Newegg for their effort and actions to satisfy their customers after making mistakes. From now on, I think I will order from Newegg with full confidence that I will be satisfied.

"Newegg refunded my money and paid for the postage for an item which did not function correctly (induction cooktop too loud!). The call center CSR even waived the restocking fee. Very impressed."
"Newegg is great. I order from them all the time, delivery is prompt and tech support is great.
This order was slightly frustrating. I bought a 1u asus server and they suggested I get the combo deal with an dual core e6500 intel processor. Its a deal they say, but they forget to mention that the processor is not compatible with the server. It makes no sense to pair incompatible things together as a combo deal.. Its not a deal if you cant use it. Like, hey buy this white board and get a free pack of markers... and what they dont tell you is that the markers are permanent.. They need to fix that system...I think they have a monkey in charge of combo deals.
They were more than happy to take the item back.. at my expense (shipping) but other than that, im quite happy."
"Well I would like to say the experience so far is less than average. Most of my orders from other companies online are either on-time or early. At newegg, my order wasn't even processed within the agreed 48 hours (do note, it's a unilateral agreement, binding the customer, to it's terms and not newegg). I had high hopes for the newegg experience, as there seemed to plenty of positive feedback to go around. But I guess that is still not a guarantee that the next customer won't fall in the cracks. Now if my order can/does ever arrive, I will be able to evaluate the actual goods.
The part that irritates me the most, is that as soon as I contacted support to get an update, the status of my order was changed to "charged", however my real-time banking system, told me, that, no new charges had been brought to my credit card.
A little sneaky and on the edge of dishonest, really.
------
Update: Customer services did contact me, apologized and gave me a few treats to ease the pain. The underlying issue has still not been addressed and by now the merchandise has arrived "as advertized", though not quite.
The actual unit came with features undocumented on the Newegg.ca website. Though in my case, this was beneficial, however a failure to reflect the exact product contents on it's website can be detrimental for sales or in dissapointment for the customer (i.e. windows 64 bits versus windows 32 bits).
Personally, had I know this device had all these extra features, my hesitation would have been lesser, it would be easier to make an educated purchase as well.
I have made other purchases at Newegg.ca hoping this was an isolated incident and as I stand alone, only one order out of four were there any issues, albeit my most expensive one.
I will end giving credit to newegg for at least trying to "make it right" for the customer, within the confines of what as customer relations manager can do. There's perhaps something that needs to be done about the procedures, which he may have input, but no final say about. So Kudos there.
So I am willing to revise upwards a point, my review. Though it still is a mixed bag... for the moment. Note: The "copy paste" apologies below here aren't a good reflection on Newegg.ca's attention to their customers either."
“Dear drjp81,

Should you have any further questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me at Maverick.B.Iniguez@newegg.com or call me at 1800-390-1119 ext 25062.
