One minor disappointment was ordering Yate Loons and receiving Nexus fans instead, but I can live with that (I ordered Yate Loons because I wanted some of the fans to push more air). "Today I took receipt of a highly customized, water cooled Lian Li case from PPC. This was no simple mod: it's a dual loop system utilizing three radiators in a Lian Li V2100 full tower. Three custom windows were laser cut and installed, pumps and reservoirs mounted, and the PSU bay modified to accommodate a three fan radiator and a PC Power & Cooling 1KW power supply.

The case was carefully packaged and arrived in tact via UPS Blue Label, despite UPS's best efforts to damage the shipment (there was a 2" gouge in the side of the box, just missing the case). :-)

Beautiful, excellent workmanship by James. He clearly took care in the extensive mods done to the case: his skilled craftsmanship and pride in the end product resulted in an industrial work of art that will serve me for years to come and several generations of motherboards and quad core processors.

Mention should also be made of the terrific communication. All emails were promptly answered; all phone calls responded to within an hour or two. One advantage in working with a smaller company is that the point person is the owner. Hank cares about the work they turn out and also cares that his customers are happy.

I don't know of any other retailer in the country that does the highly specialized customization work done by PPC. Strong endorsement. Five out of five stars for customer service and quality, precision workmanship."

"I recently ordered a Monster Lian-Li PC-343B cube case and many accessories from Performance-pcs. This can be a difficult process due to the many options available. I wanted to order the parts while they were in stock---even though I would not be at home for delivery for two weeks. There was no problem--Performance-pcs held the order and shipped in time for delivery one day after I returned home. There was one snafu, but the folks at performance-pcs (specifically Hank) have great communication and and did what was necessary to rectify the situation. This is MUCH more than I can say for Newegg or some of the others, and I've dealt with MANY online stores over the years! Pricing is better than both Newegg and Frozencpu. The product selection is good (and growing) and shipments are immediate. It's refreshing to find a company that realizes the food on their table comes from their customers---and treats their customer with respect. Mistakes happen because we are only human, but it's how we handle the mistakes that separate the men from the boys. So, I have put Performance-pcs in my TOP FIVE of preferred companies. Newegg is still one, so is frozencpu and zipzoomfly, but I will now check Performance-pcs first due to their pricing (which is only a part of the equation). My very first experience with Performance-pcs was top-notch and PROFESSIONAL. I run my own business and professionalism and respect are what I demand from my employees (or they won't work for me) and it's refreshing to find others that treat people as I do. "
