"Simply the best. As a weekend warrior it's nice to know that the parts show up at the door during the week for installation first thing Saturday Am. Saves two trips to the parts store and a few bucks as I have always found Rock cheaper. In fact the PS pressure hose I just got yesterday was the same as the junk yard wanted one that I would have had to have pulled from a wreck.
Add them to favorites and save a bunch of time next weekend hunting around for parts that the parts store will need to special order anyway."
"I've been very unlucky with this store. Ordered 2 bulbs and 4 filters. Out of four filters one arrived with totally different item number and size.
I called their customer service from work and didn't have the wrong part number with me.
Customer service asked me to call back from home once I get the part number. Once I did, they offered to send me correct part.
2 days later, I received the package from them with BAD part number again. Terrible!
I've wasted over a week to get 'stupid' filter. In this economy I am surprised that this store exists.
I hope my pharmacy does not operate this way…

"I cancelled this order last week and went to reorder same part on the 19th and the shipping changed. Company would not honor my original order price. Reps stated a shipping policy that was incorrect. Two customer service reps stated on two separate calls that day that shipping charges can change during the order process. This is totally inconsistent with the company's stated shipping policy. I even sighted an example where the part I was ordering gave two choices and the other part did have a number of shipping choices and the one I ordered did not, totally misleading the customer.WOW! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

"This last order has been a nightmare. I've ordered from them in the past for my 7 different vehicles and have received very satisfactory service but someone dropped the ball this time. I placed my order on 3/9 (Tuesday) at 1:38pm. I normally receive my orders in 2 days from Rock Auto. I don’t know what happened with this order but it wasn’t till the next day at 5:10 pm that I received shipping info. I called RA twice in the interim to find out why I didn’t receive any tracking info. Fed Ex (initially) then said I would receive it Friday. I finally got it Saturday morning WITHOUT PART # 15646 THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. I called RA and spoke to Customer service. Told him of the missing part and he said he couldn’t do anything then because the warehouse was closed but would contact me this (Monday) morning. Well, I didn't hear from anybody so I called them again myself at 9:30 EST and spoke CS who “thinks” it may have gone out under a separate tracking # - but he is not sure. We then discussed the order and the weight of the packages shipped because they first told me Fed Ex maybe lost the package and I'd have to wait 48 hours for their answer. One package was the tailpipe (shipped loose) at 4 pounds and the 2nd package was 21 pounds. I then asked him how a muffler, converter and clamps could only weigh 21 pounds. After discussing the situation with the CS person, it was agreed the converter wasn't in the package. NOW WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE without question or without wasting any more time is for a converter to be shipped out THEN via overnight delivery on their tab - but I've been waiting all day (I've called twice for updates) for a response from the warehouse. I don't know what kind of a response is needed - all I know is that I've had my car apart for a week ready to drop in the new exhaust which I can't do unless I put the converter in first. THE PACKING LIST ON THIS ORDER HAS NOTHING CHECKED OFF AS SHIPPED AND ISN’T SIGNED OFF BY A “PACKED BY” PERSON. In my experience with Rock Auto this is unusual unless something procedural wise has changed. Well, I called CS again (at 4:30pm est) and they finally confirmed there was some confusion on the order after talking to their warehouse and they would ship me out the converter but it was too late in the day for it to go out today. They said they would ship it out tomorrow for overnight delivery tomorrow so I will receive it Wednesday. Why they waited and wasted the day instead of shipping it out right away after my morning conversation is beyond my comprehension.
I am glad to see the Rock Auto reply. Let me say that I first told them on Saturday (not yesterday afternoon) that the Converter was left out of the order. I then called them again yesterday morning to follow up to see where were at. It then became an all day event yesterday to get one shipped yet - and then finally when they got to it, it was past the pickup time. Maybe they thought I was trying to pull a "fast one" but if they checked my order history, they would have quickly seen I'm a legit customer. My biggest annoyance was that the shortage wasn't shipped out pronto since it was their error. I was told (yesterday) that it was to be shipped out today via overnight on their tab. I hope that is what is happening and I'll received it tomorrow. On another note, I sent 2 e-mails to their service department yesterday - still unanswered. I would have thought I'd receive some sort of assurance that shipment has been done.
Well, it's Wednesday morning at 9:30am EST and I have received no tracking info. But after calling CS and getting some assistance, have now (at 11:40am EST) received tracking info - whew."

"First, I was shocked and disappointed to see how it was shipped. The part arrived without any packaging; all shipping labels, packing lists etc were affixed directly to the converter. I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning the labels off the product. Next, the plug sent with the converter to fill the unused oxygen sensor port did not fit as there were burrs on the top threads of the port, and the weld was over done so the plug would not fit flush. Luckily, I was at a friend’s shop that had the tools to fix these problems.
The item did fit as advertised."

"This is my 2nd order with RockAuto.com. The first was 3/5/10. Since that order went without any issue, and the part was delivered under 24 hours with standard shipping, I placed this 2nd order a few days later. This order came 2 days later - again, without any issues. I haven't installed the parts yet, but everything appears to be correct.
RockAuto.com's prices are better than that 'warehouse' parts store and they ship quicker. I have since recommended RockAuto.com to coworkers.

My first order/review was for a CARDONE SELECT CV Half Shaft Assembly. The order was placed 3/5, and it shipped the same day. It arrived the next day (Saturday via FedEx ground). I found the prices and shipping speed to be exceptional."
"I live in New Zealand and was quoted US$420 for an ABS sensor for my Isuzu, and the part was backorder ex Japan. I searched the internet for days looking for an alternative, and found a number of online Parts suppliers based mostly in the US. Nearly all that I found would not ship outside the US, and one that didn't say so on their website sent me a gruff e-mail telling me so, when I tried to place an order.
I eventually found one that shipped internationally, but via a freight forwarding company. I was so relieved, but when I tried to use this forwarding company they rejected my credit card, which very much surprised me as my card is thousands of $'s in credit.
This had gone on for about a week, when after doing more web searching, wading through numerous suppliers who seemed to be all owned by the same people, (slight difference in the web page only)unwilling to assist anyone except those in the US....this is a World-Wide-Web they are advertising on, but are being discriminatory.
Eventually I stumbled upon RockAuto.com, and boy am I so glad I did. I have nothing but praise for these guys, and my truck is very happy too, and all ready to pass an upcoming warrant of fitness. The price was competitive, all up it was US$130 freight and customs inclusive. Those other dudes need to take a lesson from RockAuto.com on how to run a real online business. I look forward to doing business with RockAuto.com again, they are real professionals!
