"Ordered an EGR valve for my 2007 Dodge Nitro.
Considering the extremely low price (about $100 including shipping to the Netherlands, which is about have you would pay for a used one over here) and some nasty reviews, I wasn’t expecting too much of it and took a leap of faith.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the exact right part on my doorstep in only 3 days!
They even threw in the gaskets for free, which I actually forgot to order.
Had it put in, works like a charm!
I will definately be ordering more stuff.

"I purchased a set of brake pads and rotors from them. One of the pads appeared to have a defect in the binding material that held the pad to the bracket as it broke off after less than 3 months of use.
They initially denied the warranty stating the warranty only covered defects in workmanship (which this clearly was) when emailed and their warranty parts page stated the pads werent returnable.
Given the time sensitive matter before me I purchased pads locally to resolve the issue then filed a complaint with the wisconsin better business bureau to attempt to recoup the additional cost incurred.
Rock auto not only denied this, they went on to offer me warranty pads after I had already stated that I resolved the issue and no longer needed the pads. They said they didn't know why their associate told me the pads werent covered. So they screw up by denying the warranty claim and then admit as much but dont want to make it right.
So my advice is to stay away from them and save your money. Purchase parts locally or if you go online then at least check that the place has a customer service department you can call as their correspondence is all via email which is beyond frustrating when encountering idiocy like I did recently.

"I ordered an alternator and they shipped me an alternator that was completely differnt. Had a sticker with the right part number, but the paper that it came with had a differnt part number. I paid for 2 day shipping and now I can’t even get the right part for another 3 days at least because I have to ship the wrong part back to them before they will ship me the right one. "If I could give RockAuto a ZERO, I would. They have no customer service phone number to call if something is wrong with your order. I also looked up there Better Business Reviews in Madison, Wisconsin after I had trouble with them and was astonished by the large number of negative complaints."
"Well first they sent me the wrong part, printed my shipping label sent the wrong part back to them. Then they sent me a new part... which I thought was right. Took apart my car to put the new handle on which.... was a right door handle not a left door handle. At this point it's been 42 days since I ordered my part so I can't return this second wrong part that was sent. Yes 42 days after you order, even if they send you the wrong part twice you've lost your chance to send it back. Shipping was darn slow both times as well. They have no telephone service, and you can't post reviews about them on google or facebook or almost anywhere but here, which should be a red flag for anyone."
"This is a joke of a company. Their communication is ridiculous. They do not care about you or your order, only when they have their money. Spent over $1k, over $600 of that stuff was damaged in shipping. I never took possession of any of it, yet they will not refund my money. They tell you to inspect everything before signing, as you should, but when you do and refuse due to damage your funds are **** for weeks for something you had no part in. Their service is the most ignorant ive ever dealt with, and just keep repeating the same stuff over and over regardless of the questions you ask. I accepted a box full of stuff that had a plastic grill in it. When I opened the grill ($30) it was broken. They tell me now I have to go to a body shop to get an estimate before they will do anything, or just tuff luck. Stay away from Rock Auto. They say no customer service to keep rates low... that's BS. They don't have customer service because they don't want to hear all of the complaints. If they would practice better shipping procedures, theyd save a lot more than having someone answer the phones. DO yourself a favor and DO NOT SHOPE WITH ROCK AUTO"
"Bought 4 rotors for my aunts 2013 Avenger. The kits are amazing that Rock auto sells and includes 2 rotors for the front and the pads for both sides and 2 rotors for the rear and pads for both sides. Full brake job cost me $77.00 and then $20 in shipping. Parts came in 2 days...Cant beat it! "
