"I ordered front wheel bearings for my 2002 Chevy Malibu and they came in and were locked up and wore out. I had ordered new ones and these seemed to be rebuilt, so I emailed them and they said to order a new set and when I received the new one I could return the other for a full refund. Well the new one came in and it was wore out as well and wouldn't even turn and I get online to do the return for a refund for both and it gives me questions that don't even go along with wheel bearings or installing them and then it tells me I can't send them back and I'm stuck with them. You can't reach costumer service and they won't help you in anyway. I'll never get scammed by these crooks again and I'll do my best to make sure everyone else I know doesn't buy off of them either."

We ordered brake drums and rotors for a Toyota Tundra, they came to us defective. We had them installed and then went to get our brake's bled and they said our rotors/drums were warped. Well, it's now our problem and not covered under warranty. We were told by the brake shop that they were defective."

"I ordered two front hydraulic brake hoses for our 1995 Buick Riviera. The brand I ordered was Centric which were about $5.00 more a piece but the parts I got were not Centric. The boxes they came in were Centric but the parts inside were not. One hose has "Sunsong" written on it which was about a $4 or $5 cheaper hose which was supposed to include both copper sealing washers according to the photos for "Sunsong" hoses but did not include them. The other hose had no brand maker mark on it anywhere and it looked inferior to the Sunsong hose, it looked like cheaper dirty rubber that looked used. Also the hose seems to be smaller diameter and flimsier also no sealing washers OR the clip that's supposed to come with it. When I emailed Rock Auto a female replied and said that they would look into the matter and reply in a couple days. After a couple days a gentleman replied and sent me the usual "Problems with parts" answer that is on their website which basically states that they have no control over the parts that their suppliers send but that the supplier feels that the part they are sending is as good quality as the brand you ordered and will honor the warranty of the brand you ordered even though it's not the brand that you received!
This is my first and last Rock Auto order. When I pay $10 more for a brand and I get an inferior brand that I could have ordered for $10 cheaper on a couple of hydraulic hoses then that's bad business and I'll order from places that I can trust to send the parts/brands that I paid for! Goodbye Rock Auto"
"The website is confusing, and the instructions for returning items is unintelligible. Rock Auto has no place you can call or email for help... so they literally have NO customer service. Parts may be cheap.. but if you buy them from Rock Auto, and do not need them or they are defective... prepare to have horrible difficulties in trying to return them."

Recently I had problemma and they refunded both the part and the shipping. I didn't expect them to do that but it was a very pleasant surprise. I plan on continuing to use them, even for basic maintenance items, as long as things continue as well as they have."

Long story short it was harder than Amazon.com to return the part but not by much. Everything went through and I received my refund. "
"Recently started a new project and placed several orders with Rock Auto. There were issues with all but one order. Parts did not fit the vehicle contrary to Rock Auto's automated ordering process including their description. Parts were missing. Parts were lost in transit. Upon trying to return wrong part Rock Auto indicated that 1) parts were not worth the cost of return shipping but offered no reimbursement for the cost I incurred; 2) I was required to pay the return shipping even though Rock Auto's description was incorrect. On the lost part, the delivery date passed and the delivery company said there were issues that should be corrected within 48 hours but after a week Rock Auto insisted the part was in transit and I should wait another week and contact them again if product has not been received. Couple these issues with the fact that Rock Auto does not provide a means to contact a real person for customer service and when I call Rock Auto's general number a message consistently indicates no one is available to take my call "

"Ok, I should have done research on this company before buying, but who could imagine it could be this bad? There is no customer service department! I ordered brake pads for the front and rear of my car. I used their system to select the make, model and year, made my choices and purchased the parts. The parts are wrong. I didn't get to them right away and a month passed. There is no way to contact anyone and the website does not have a way for you to inform them of this problem.
I'm out $50. Not only will not buy from this rip off mill again, I am going to make sure everyone knows not to waste their money here as well as contact consumer affairs and the Attoney General. "

"Check the site no phone numbers listed or a contact email page. my order lost, I just got auto replies that did not answer any questions then I got an email saying the case closed. Spend the extra few bucks on a quality service. It will save you a lot in the end"
