"I used ROCKAUTO.COM for a few reasons. One is their prices, they always beat autozone, pepboys, ect. Second, their shipping is fast and cheap. The quality of the parts is the same as the other auto parts stores, and you normaly have a greater selection of part manufactures. Best of all I don't have to drive to the store and wait in line for 30 min. Just to be told they have to order the part. I can order the part from the confurt of my leather chair with a cold beer in my hand. Thanks ROCKAUTO.COM"

"1.Looking up ordered parts on your web site was easy and when I couldn't find a particular item, a phone call to your very professional service reps confirmed why I couldn't find a part.
2. Once a part was found and verified to be the right one,transferring it to the shopping cart was as convenient as walking through the grocery store.
3. The cost per item was one of the main factors of ordering from you.
4. My orders are shipped and received with such efficiency paying shipping and handling fees is not so bad especially when I have refused to buy products on line due to S&H fees.
5. Now that I am in your history files, repetition of entering information has been eliminated.
6. Since becoming one of your customers, I have referred several potential customers to also. I thank you very much for your prompt response, customer courtesy and professionalism that will make me continue shopping with you in the future.

"I don't know the order number but it was an exhaust manifold for a 1993 Toyota Corolla. I can't better here at home! Customer service was extremely helpful when I called, the order arrived in two days! Fantastic prices, excellent service and value quality parts. I saved $22.00 on the total orders compared to shopping local.

"A quick note to you and anyone thinking about doing business with Rock Auto...They're great!!!
I needed a lower rad. hose for 2007 Chrsler 300 3.5L
Noone had the Part - Advance, Autozone, Napa did not even have a listing for the part and no way to order it, Chysler did not hve the part and were going to order it from Georgia - would not be here until 11-27. "Rock Auto was contacted by phone and emails to express concern and question the quality of the parts. Rock Auto sent the defective parts despite the pre-delivery concerns of quality. Then, the merchant refused to refund full amount of order and supply return shipping despite the merchant being sent photographs of defective parts. This company is a scam and should not be one with which to do business."

"email I wrote to RA:
I would just like to comment on my recent orders with your company. I am a small business owner so I know how important feedback can be. At this point I haven't found an online supplier which conducts itself as well as yours has. I greatly enjoy how quickly I get my shipments, two days usually for ground shipping. You also go to great lengths to make sure everything is packed securely even when it's just some exhaust piping. Finally, the collectible magnets are a nice touch. As a matter of fact I loan my skills and money out to people in need as my way of giving back since I'm not in a position to give much to charities, and recently I was helping out a single mother who was worried about how much she would repay me for fixing her ABS system. When I explained to her how I received this cool classic car magnet to put on my fridge in my shop and how it was payment enough for the privilege to be able to help her and her two young daughters drive safely this winter, she seemed to be relieved. In actuality, I was more relieved I could get her quality parts at a reasonable cost.
So a big thank you and I look forward to doing more business with you in the future whenever I can.

"I was blown away at the savings it was cheaper for me to order these parts than it was to go to two different stoer and buy them. With warehouses all over the US you just cant go wrong. Shipping was fast and with a tracking number you know when they get to you.

"This is the 2nd time I have got auto products from RockAuto and find their service and pricing very good. I live in Canada and there isn't any one to touch you for price. I checked local parts suppliers for the items I needed and counting in the shipping and customs cost you are still the cheapest. Your web site is excellent and very easy to navigate. I will be buying from you again in the future and will recommend you to friends etc."

"Very disappointed in Rockauto.com. If you are ordering multiple parts the shipping is from multiple different locations and shipping is charged multiple times. For my order every part had its own shipping charge, from $6-$15 according to distance, accounting for half the cost of my order. The parts catalog lacks a lot of information and is very disorganized as well. I have been trying to get the correct part from them for 3 weeks now. The guy I spoke to told me that the warehouse shipped the wrong part but I can't get credit for it. So I now had to order for a 3rd time. If the local Pep Boys had given my the wrong part returning it wouldn't be an issue. I am an ASE certified auto technician so I know my way around a car pretty well. If you get the right part the first time you might save a few bucks. If you get one wrong part you will spend far more than you wanted. I have now spent $40 for a $5 carburetor rebuild kit. $18 of that just shipping. Wasting the money bothers me some, wasting 3 weeks trying to get the right part is unacceptable.

Update.
1 day after posting this review someone from rockauto.com called and helped to sort out what went wrong. I am frustrated with the time lost, but i feel that a call to try and straighten things out shows a dedication to the customer that i didn't see the first time I called. I think that phone call may win me back. Not for the credit but for the concern

" I have continued to return to rock auto. This is my second time buying from them. There prices are way less price than my local parts store, and it worth the savings to wait for them to arrive! I bought new mirrors, the whole assembly for my 2002 Pickup and total price was for each mirror was $31 Dollars. This same mirror was well over $100 At a dealer and they are identical to stock. I will continue to buy from rock auto as will all my friends that have sent to them! Great prices and my shipment arrived quickly. Thank you I will be to shop soon.. Chad"
