"So rare is there a problem with something you get from Sainsmart. This ONE time there were a problem with a new item. (Not their fault) But, Sainsmart customer service was right there answering my concern. Like magic I received a replacement item only a few day's later ! Wow, no questions asked and no hassle at all. Besides that, I received two follow up messages to track the progress of the replacement. The replacement works perfect and as expected. You just can't get better than this. "Very happy with my Sainsmart Filament Dryer V2 and with their prompt service. I use this for PLA, PETG, TPU and ABS. I usually just put a spool in the dryer for a couple of hours (depending on the filament) before I put the spool on the printer. My son also bought the Sainsmart dryer and prints straight from the spool while it's in the dryer. If you are experiencing pitting or stringing in your prints, this probably is a solution for you. In contrast to a oven or food dehydrator, the Sainsmart dryer does not heat the whole room. Yes there is some heat, but I don't feel like it is blowing up my electric bill just to cool the house in the Texas summer.

Assembly: Took a few hours, but not very difficult to understand if you look at the pictures on the website as well as the assembly book.

Getting started with milling: This will probably be the area where you start to get a little frustrated but also excited as you learn more what all it can do.
I used Candle for grbl control, and started out using the gcode tools included in inkscape for the design software. It took awhile to figure out how to use it and get what I wanted from it, but eventually it came along somewhat nice. After I got tired of not being able to do very nice 3D textures/designs....so I switched to Autodesk Inventor+Inventor CAM (Free with an educational email address)

The Router itself is absolutely *flawless* if you program everything right in the 3D designs. Very very accurate and detailed. :)

Overall, I am in love with this machine and the customer service given by SainSmart about any inquiries I had. Very quick to respond to emails and attempt to remedy any problems.
The only suggestion that I would make is buy some Red Loctite Threadlocker and put it on the set screw for the stepper motor coupler. Other than that I would just say have fun!
