"I ordered photos and magnets of a professional photo shoot. They arrived too dark. After an excessive chat session, I finally got credit to my account to place a reorder. BUT they REFUSED to pay shipping, so it would basically cost be the same amount that I originally paid when I received free shipping! What a scam! I will never use Shutterfly again. Their 100% satisfaction guarantee is worthless and misleading."

I ordered my Christmas cards on December 10th and paid for expedited shipping. I called yesterday when my order still had not shipped and was refunded part of the shipping and informed by the representative that a request was put in for the order to be expedited. I informed him I needed this order by Saturday. I just checked the tracking and it was shipped out today with an estimated delivery for Monday. Why was this order not shipped overnight since it was already late? I have been a loyal customer for many years and I will have to think about finding a new company to order holiday cards and Christmas party invitations from next year. This will be the first year ever that my "Christmas cards" will be received after Christmas and my husband doesn't want to spend more money on postage to mail them since they won't be received before Christmas, so it's probably going to be the first year we will not be sending Christmas cards. What a waste of more then $200 for some of the most expensive holiday cards out there. I couldn't order earlier because your website was down and then I still had to call and wait on hold for almost an hour because the website would not allow me to edit the card. Same issue with the Christmas party invites I ordered from Shutterfly. Very disappointing. Don't offer expedited shipping if it's not going to be expedited...and since when is a 7 day delivery expedited shipping?

"After one month of trying to create a book from my honeymoon, multiple crashes, errors and freezes, 4 times contacting customer service and a broken iPad thrown out of frustration, I was finally able to create and purchase my book. 4 times I was promised follow up, 0 times I’ve been contacted. I was so frustrated after I finally perfected my book, put it in my cart, went to pay for it, got an error message 4 times and reinstalled the app only to have all my work which had been saved erased. Not salvageable, not able to get it back, nothing. I was so beyond frustrated that I sobbed uncontrollably for 40 minutes. That has never happened before, so congratulations on that I guess, Shutterfly. Customer service wasn’t helpful, nor were half of them empathetic. A customer who has been promised a follow up should not have to follow up with you. I had been a customer for 7 years and today they lost my business. Please save yourself time and frustration and use another service. "
"I ordered on Dec 12th with an estimate to receive before Christmas. On 12/21 there was still no notification that the cards were sent. I contacted Shutterfly through a chat and I was 99th in line. After waiting for 30 minutes, I started chatting with someone and she escalated the order. The next day, I received an email that order was shipped. Today, I check the shipping details and no shipping up. I have always trusted Shutterfly but after reading others experience and my own experience, I will NEVER use Shutterfly again!!!"
"Still waiting been four weeks for one picture. Every time I try to contact I get absolutely no help. Shutterfly continues to blame the company they chose to use for their deliveries. One picture it’s been over four weeks. Highly disappointed it was for my granddaughter on Christmas. By the way they stick a ridiculous COVID surcharge on your bill. "
"I had a great experience with this project and site. It was easily to navigate. The project i did was mailed out promptly and received in time for the holidays. I think they do a great service with the amount of projects they are handling. I would recommend them for any picture project that you are looking to do. "

"Well.. My story is about the same as many of these other stories on here. Over the last few years I've used shutterfly numerous times and had great luck with them but this time is unbelievable! Their customer service is third world bad bad BAD! They actually got my photo books printed and out the door in three days which was impressive but then it was down hill from there.... Who ever thought it was ok to use a shipping service that combined two different company's should be fired (UPS and USPS). According to the tracking info my books actually sat in my hometown for 4 days before going to IL then to PA where they have been sitting since the 21st of DEC 2020. I talked to customer service on Sat the 19th of Dec to see if they would own up to the problem and print new books to overnight to me = NO luck. I filed a dispute with my debit card on Dec 24th 2020. My belief at this point is Shutterfly should Shutterdown and close up shop. I ordered in time (with a couple of days to spare) according to their website for Christmas delivery...now I'm screwed. My parents are really really old and Shutterfly ruined what may be their last Christmas...

"My order left shutterfly on December 3rd and now has not moved since December 6th. Today is the 22nd of December. I get it that shipping is not Shutterfly’s fault, but come on this order is lost. These were Christmas cards and I have given up. I just ordered from the local Walgreens who can do it in a day. Shutterfly customer service is terrible they just say they are not responsible and offer not help. Really they should ship it again through FedEx or UPS. I have used Shutterfly for a long time and other packages have gotten lost and they have just resent them. I was counting on shurtterfly to come through for Christmas. I really don’t think I will be using them again"
