"I was in the market for a 14" Rough in, chair height, elongated toilet... They had what I needed. I called and they checked stock. "In stock at near warehouse". Two days to my door, I was told. A week went by and nothing. I began calling but I couldn't get answers about delivery or where it was being shipped from. 2 calls the first day, without promised call back. Two calls the second day and later in the afternoon I got the return call apologizing for not being able to get in touch with their supplier etc. I would see the toilet in 3 days or less coming truck freight. Meantime I have a bathroom without a toilet for 2 weeks... Not thrilling. Last order I placed at the store in person item was in stock but damaged. New one was to be pulled out the following day. Two days later it was pulled out and they called me to pick it up. It was available in 2 different faucet drillings. I selected the 8" from the first visit. I arrived and the cabinet was acceptable but the vanity top was not drilled and I was told it would take 2 hours to do it. I could come back again and they would have it ready. Third trip finally got it..."
"We ordered a clawfoot bathtub from Signature Hardware on a Monday and we picked it up from the trucking company on Friday. They were going to give us 24 hrs notice so planned to deliver it on Monday so we picked it up from them. The tub and all the parts were packed well and looked beautiful.
Signature Hardware employees were helpful with the order. They even had plumbers available to answer questions. I would definately order from them again."

"Like pharrisss on March 7: In doing a bathroom restoration, I assembled all the materials ahead of installation, I found pieces missing from the faucet assembly. When I called Signature to request that they send the parts, I was notified of the 5 day inspection rule. They refused to send the pieces unless I pay for them AGAIN. Their customer service is terrible. Although I am continuing restoration on other rooms, I would NEVER buy from them again!"
"I love the register covers I ordered and couldn't find any similar ones elsewhere. They were great quality and reasonably priced. The only thing I wasn't overly impressed with was that I ordered $250 worth of them and then realized I missed one. When I went back online to order it, the price had gone up by $10 just 2 weeks later. So I called them thinking they would honor the previous price for me and even maybe the 20% off I had received for spending so much. The customer service rep would not and said their prices change and compared it to gas prices fluctuating. For just $10 you would think they would want to keep a customer happy especially one who had spent so much. My mistake but still surprising."

When I had to return it, I was charged a restocking fee PLUS they deducted a "shipping" charge from my refund.
This is part of their return policy; however it doesn't make any sense, and certainly seems like it shouldn't even be legal. "

"They are wonderful! I broke a leg on a porcelain sink that I bought about a year before from Signature. (It was a freak accident where my toilet lid broke, skidded sideways and karate chopped the sink's leg, knocking it out and shattering it!) I only needed one leg, but the legs are sold in pairs. Signature Hardware understood and sold me only 1 leg and charged me a fair price. They were so nice to deal with and the replacement arrived quicker than I expected. I also like that they try their best to use environmentally responsible packaging. "

I made a mistake while ordering on-line and had to call customer service late in the evening. To my surprise, I spoke immediately with a live person who quickly accessed my order and made the needed corrections. "I had ordered a kitchen exhaust fan last month and was so pleased with it that when I decided to buy a new chandelier, I checked out your extensive stock of light fixtures, and found one I absolutely loved. When it arrived, one of the glass globes was broken. I called your customer service on Friday and received an entire new unit on Monday! I don't recall the name of the lady who handled my call, but she was awesome. I have been singing your praises and will continue to recommend you to all. By the way, my new chandelier is beautiful. But, they were sure to charge my credit card immediately for the item. Now I have to wait to get my money back. Avoid this merchant at all costs."
"I would avoid this merchant, www.signaturehardware.com. They shipped me a damaged tub and I tried to return it or get a replacement without success. According to them, I was subsequently informed of an unknown policy that the item needed to be inspected within 5 days but I was outside the 5 day period. This policy was unknown to me, but it is convenient for them now because they are trying to make me absorb their poor service. The item was inadequately packed AND their shipper seems to have handled it poorly
