"Wayback when Microsoft was eager to have users adopt new versions of Windows, you could "piggy back" the new version on the digital license secured with the earlier version. In September or October 2024, Microsoft decided that Windows 11 licenses tied to an earlier version would not remain activated and could not be reactivated. I noted this when updating my Win 11 Pro to 23H2. Microsoft CSR was unwilling or unable to help, and simply babbled on reading from a script. The retail charge for a Win 11 Pro license was $200. Fortunately, I stumbled across Softwarekeep and was able to get the required product key for about 1/3 of that. I had some concerns, but got excellent info very promptly in a chat with Daniel who satisfied my curiosity. Spent the money and it all worked out quite well. As far as MS is concerned, does anybody smell a class action suit? This whole affair smacks of underhandedness and a bait & switch years in the making. Shame on you, Microsoft. "

"I would give you a failing grade. But I believe it’s something you can fix. I typed in the code that was sent to me via email, but something went wrong and when I try to use the same code again, I got a prompt that stated it had already been used. So I had to call Microsoft support. Thank God they were able to help me, but you were no use. I should’ve gone through Microsoft in the first place.
This company is more interested in good reviews that fixing the problems with their service. They are actually liars as well. 2 days after I was asked for a review and gave them a bad one they sent me another email that asked if I would change my review because as they state "We’ve worked with you a bit on the issue and we’re hoping you’re satisfied with the outcome." No one contacted me. There was no interaction with them but they say we worked with me.
Oh and the best. After righting a low rated review a pop up asks you "You have rated Softwarekeep.com poorly, are you sure you would like to continue with your submission?" What? Are you asking me to reconsider saying something negative? Who ever runs this department should be fired. "
