"Solid Signal has been of the best online stores I have purchased from lately. The site they have created is very warm and inviting without being too fancy or interfering with user-friendliness. In fact, one of my favorite aspects of the website, was the search bar that stayed at the top of the screen so you did not have to scroll back up to find it. Website aside, the customer service was outstanding. I placed my order about 1:19pm on a Wednesday and they had it shipped by 3pm! If I ever have to buy any of the equipment that solid signal provides, I will 100% turn back to Solid Signal!

Unfortunately, my research let me down and I had ordered the wrong part and it did not do what I thought it was for, however that is all my fault and takes nothing away from the service I received from Solid Signal!"

"I cut the cable a while back and was getting by with a DIY antenna and amplifier. It was ugly but hidden up in the attic. Everything was great most of the time. But certain conditions like high wind or storms severely degraded the reception.

I called Solid Signal and Matt recommended one of their Xtreme Signal bay directional antennas. It was very competitively priced compared to similar well-known brands. It came double boxed, nearly fully assembled, and with instructions that I actually didn't need. Instead I watched their short online assembly video. Installation was easy to do without tools right in the attic while standing on two joists.

After 1 week with snow storms and high winds I am no longer getting any reception dropouts and channel scans are finding stations I never received before."

"I made a purchase from Solid Signal on a Tuesday night and sprung for their very reasonably $3.99 2-day shipping upgrade (on top of the reasonable ground shipping rate). Two days later, it showed up at my door!

My only complaint is I never received a shipping notice / tracking number, so I was going out of my mind wondering if my shiny new toy was going to arrive in time for the weekend!

So while they didn't do that, they did all of important stuff right! They sold me a hard-to-get item at a reasonable price with fast, reasonable shipping, and they shipped it immediately.

For an electronics shop not named Amazon or Newegg, Solid Signal is an amazing gem on the internet with a wide selection of products neither of those stores stock! Great place!"

"I had an issue with shipping one of my orders to a USPS Post Office Box, since the merchant ships via FedEx. The order was rerouted by FedEx to a former employer that is no longer in business, so I have no idea where the package ended up. I called the merchant's customer support to start the process of getting FedEx to reclaim and properly deliver the package. I spoke to Ashley R. from customer service and instead of putting me through the process - and wait - of getting FedEx to fix the problem (which was a shipment carrier issue and not the merchant's fault) Ashley just said - "We will just reship you the cables again, and of course there will be no charge for the replacements". I wasn't expecting it, and didn't ask for it, but I was relieved and impressed by the high quality of the merchant's customer support. By the way, I haven't done much business with this merchant, but back in 2007 I bought a Direct TV DVR, with no issues, no hicups, I even use that DVR today (7 years now). I can say from personal experience - this merchant has been around for a long time, and I have always been satisfied with its products and prices. "

"i have been buying from solid signal for a long time,i have gotten a lot of my friends to buy from them i have never had aproblem with solid signal,i ordered a antenna on1-17-2014 they emailed me that it was on backorder, i called matthew today,2-7-2014 he advised me i should have the order today,he was very nice and professional, great job solid signal and matthew."

"UPDATE - refund received, and on second attempt, things went a lot more smoothly. And it seems I have been removed from mailing list as requested.

Merchant notified me via email that my order was on hold because "my paypal address is unverified". (I have used Paypal for over 5 years with other merchants with no issue).

I contacted them regarding this matter over email to understand what was going on - in response I got an email back where they communicated that they cancelled my order and claimed to have refunded my money. This is an over $300 order - I am now giving them a day or two to see if the refund actually comes through.

I also attempted to call them over the phone - the person who answered (after 10 mins on hold) reviewed the notes on the order - read them back verbatim - didn't give any guidance as to what "unverified address" means and how to rectify.

Regardless, I will now have to wait till I get the dollars back in my account to place an order with someone else. If I had selected a different merchant, I would most likely be enjoying the product right now vs. dealing with all this.

Also, apparently with this one order - i got placed on solid signal's high volume mailing list - i have received multiple emails from them everyday for the entire week. Last night (2/6/2014) I clicked unsubscribe in their email and ensured the website that came up confirmed my un-subscription - and yet i found another sales email in my inbox this morning - hopefully this will turn off soon. "

"I am extremely disappointed in the service we received from SoldSignal on this order. It took them 8!!! days just to tell us that an item is on back order and won't be available for 2 months. That is completely unacceptable and shows a severe communication and order fulfillment problem.

I understand these online merchants sell many products that they don't hold in their own warehouse but this time frame is well beyond what is reasonable to expect as a buyer. It should have never taken them more than 2 business days to figure out that they could not get me the item I ordered."
