"When I purchased my printer, I also purchased the extended warrantee , not knowing how important that would turn out to be. As it turned out my printer developed a non repairable problem determined by the manufacturer.
That it when Square Trade came in and took control . They checked the purchase , and warranty info, and refunded my purchase. Thank You."
"My dryer became inoperable due to a PG&E voltage surge which took place on start-up after a prolonged electrical outage. Allstate sent a well selected Appliance Repair Technician for service. He worked his way thru clearing all error codes and ordering of correct replacement parts. Unfortunately, my dryer could not be repaired in a cost effective way. As soon as replacement became the remaining option, Allstate promptly looked for a straight across replacement. There being no replacement Allstate paid the full purchase price of my dryer. This allowed me to purchase a new dryer."

"Protection plan was purchased when I bought the TV at Walmart. When the TV had big problems I called to put in a claim. The agent I talked to was excellent. I don't hear well and she had to repeat her words several times, but she was very patient with me nonetheless.
As it turned out this TV had a recall notice from Vizio for the problem I was experiencing so she connected me with Vizio, who refunded my entire purchase price.
So, ALLSTATE did not have to pay for this claim BUT......IF I DIDN'T HAVE THIS PROTECTION PLAN I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN ABOUT THE RECALL. $30 well spent."
