Not happy with delivery time and customs

"They were very far out with their delivery estimate. They were also not too helpful when I contacted them asking about the missed delivery estimate.
The item did eventually arrive, but long after their estimated delivery date.
I also had to pay customs on the item to the value of about half the item's worth, which is not the fault of tradeinn, but they did nothing to highlight this issue, which they should know about.

never go there

"I attach below what happened during my purchase of climbing shoes and my comments were all rejected by Trekkinn -> never purchase anything from this awful site!

I am very unsatisfied with your service and the way you marketed it as with the lowest online price guaranteed!
You showed me the price in Swiss Francs but from my credit card statement I saw that I have actually paid in Euro, so I got charged additional costs for paying in different currency than CHF.
Ordering the good and showing all prices in CHF you lead me believe that you calculated all costs in the price and I paid almost CHF9.94 for the delivery. Today I received the customs bill for the delivery and it is at the amount of CHF32 which is 20% of the order!!! After I dig in your web-site I read in the FAQ section that there could be additional customs costs which you never mentioned in the purchase process.
At the end I paid at your web-site more than I could have paid in a local shop: CHF142 for the shoes, CHF9.94 for the delivery, CHF2.68 for paying in Euro and CHF32 for the customs. And I waited 1 week for your delivery. This is more than I could have paid in a local shop and get the shoes immediately.
So if you want still to claim that you have the lowest online price you should reimburse me the customs bill of CHF32 and the tax for paying in Euro of CHF2.68.

Terrible customer service

"I have been going back and fourth through email with customer support. Phone lines aren’t taking calls at this time. Every pair of boots the site says they have in my size they don’t. They don’t tell me which ones they have when I get an email back so after trying to get 2 different boots the site said were in stock and 3 days later I will never use them again!"

TREKKIN REFUSES TO ACCEPT DELIVERY OF RETURNED ITEM

"I recently purchased a Jacket online from TREKKINN.COM...unfortunately it was the wrong size, so I decided to return the item. I followed all return instructions on the site, printed out the (authorized) RETURN LABEL (Order # 13459081; Return # 458187) and shipped the package back to the seller.
According to FedEx, the package was not delivered to the seller, because they REFUSED TO ACCEPT it, despite several delivery attempts.
The seller stated that they had "no knowledge about the return package". (???)
Now the package will be shipped back to me, on my expense. All e-mails, Chats, and WhatsApp messages with Trekkinn customer services were useless and misleading.
I guess this is their way to increase the profit margin...by scamming the customer and refusing to refund a returned product.

A very bad company

"A very bad company, a very bad customer service. They removed a product from my order without even informing me. After having problems with delivery because they didn´t provide the address correctly, they said they will try to figure this out and inform me as soon as possible, even didn´t bother to contact me in 3 days. I had to call them every day for over one week. I paid for express transport service, they sent via regular mail telling that for orders less than 20kg, they use regular mail - but charged for express anyway. That was my last order with Trekkinn."

don't send out orders

"They sent me a confirmation and a delivery date. After the delivery date has passed I contacted them and found out they had not sent the order. They then couldn't promise to send me in time for my holiday so I cancelled. Then the refund was difficult to get. Absolutely useless. Do not be tempted by cheap prices."

Worried Wort

"*Preface: I am a purchaser from the United States, who read reviews from this website and others, who is not affiliated with the company, just a newbie backpacker.*

I bought a Osprey Eja 58 from Trekkinn after comparing prices on Google on their shopping tool. Retail for this backpack is $220, and Trekkinn was selling for $145 or so plus $15 shipping. I am always hesitant with overseas suppliers, but I don't think I took the time to research them before, thinking that Google is a reliable aggregate for retailers. I had simply read their "About Us" and felt somewhat comfortable. I also felt a little better about paying through Paypal.

After I got the purchase confirmation, something in me snapped, and I googled reviews for this company. I was heartbroken! I did manage to find some message board threads from winter sport people and mountain climbers, so I felt that they would be trustworthy (although they were a little dated). The overall feeling after reading everything was that it will come but maybe not in the promised time. I was OK with that even though I was on a strict timeline for my backpacking trip. Reading all the reviews though, most of the good ones were very vague and so I felt that they were decoys from the company, and all the bad ones were so bad!

So, after getting the order confirmation, I wait for the shipping confirmation. Since they are working on a different timezone, I think I get it about 2 days after. I start obsessing with the tracking link in the email. I check it multiple times a day. My backpack shipped out of Netherlands and took a few days to get to San Francisco, took a few days to get out of customs (it was over the weekend), and then gets to me - in Phoenix. It was within the time frame they promised!!! I was so elated. I didn't choose the expedited shipping and mine was shipped with USPS. Once it got in the US, I used USPS to send me tracking updates. They require signature, so I ended up going to the post office to pick it up.

I read a review that the product the user received was defective. I have done a little perusing with my hands, and it seems to be fine. I also read that a contributor contacted Osprey to check that they are a legitimate supplier of their products - they are.

I had a good experience, but the response on here still gives me pause. I told myself I would review them if I got what I expected, just in case someone else pulled the trigger like I did and freaks out the way I did. I will update my review if anything changes. :)

Ordered 4/21/19, received 5/1/19.

SHOP ELSEWHERE

"Do yourself a favour and do not use this company. I ordered pair of hiking boots only for the wrong size to arrive. They insisted they delivered correct size, I ordered UK 8.5 and UK 6 came. I went to a shop 30 miles away to ensure that I was ordering the correct size so why would I order size 6. I have now paid £14 in postage and still no boots as I would not accept an exchange. Why would I give this company any of my money after such disgraceful customer service."

Worst service available

"I usually would never spend my time to comment on such bad service but, I must say it hurts my feelings to give Trekkin one star, if only I could give no stars! Avoid doing business with this Co. at all cost. They will do nothing to fulfill your order and you will have to threaten them to get your money they have already pocketed. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else!"

TERRIBLE TREKKINN!!!!! DONT BUY FROM THEM!!!

"Plain and simple! Do NOT BUY FROM THESE CRIMINALS!!!!!

The purposefully sent me a factory faulted Tent that was previously returned. I complain just minutes of receiving the tent and contacted Trekkinn. They will not even respond to my mails.

These are criminals in disguise.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM YOU WILL BE SORRY LIKE ME!!!!

I will keep fighting till I get justice.

Complete scam

"Don’t even try. Worthless. They bill you and never, never send product. After 2 months of no resolution with email, online chat and several,phone calls, I disputed with my credit card. They never even responded to credit card company when the amount was pulled from them. Complete scam. They just hold onto your money. Don’t use them or their affiliates. Look at the reviews. I wish I had. "

"This crowd deserve Zero starts but sadly I have to give them 1 star as this doesn't allow zero stars, do not give them your business they are crooks and liars, their automated customer care system will tie you up in knots and spit you out so frustrated that you will want to travel to Spain (Where they are based) just to castrate them all, their automated system is designed to avoid contact so if you are one of the many saps that get drawn in by their cheaper prices and fail to get what you paid for they you are in for a merry ride. I won but it took me 2 months and many emails and phone calls and the power of Paypal to win over.

I bought a Garmin satnav from them, they advertised it as having preloaded software, when it arrived it had none, this meant that I'd it was the most expensive unit on the net as the mas cost £157 bought seperately. I complained and heard nothing, tried to return it and their system insists I photograph the missing item as proof????? interesting how am I supposed to photograph preloaded software???? so system wouldn't let me return it, so I just added a photo...any photo but system still refused to accept my return and give me a returns slip. Luckily I'd bought it through Paypal so lodged a claim. suddenly Trekkinn became talkative and offered me a partial refund, which I accepted. Refund never came, so back onto Paypal, Trekinn started talking again and said they'd already refunded me, neither I nor Paypal could find this so called refund so I contacted them again and they said close the case with Paypal and they would refund again, seems strange that they requested that when they hadn't even done the refund initially. so back onto paypal with proof of the refund offer and Paypal kindly debited their account.

Awful, awful, Awful!

"Not sure if the company is in financial difficulty but they advertise good prices, take your money then don’t deliver.

They tell you the same thing over and over when you contact them. ‘It’s waiting to be dispatched to our delivery centre.’ They don’t tell you why it’s delayed and what they are doing about and they are very rude in their messages.

It’s really hard to contact them and all they tell you is to go on to the FAQ’s.

Avoid at all costs!!!!

Will see how long I have to wait for my money back now that I have cancelled my order
