Bad experience

"Have been a customer many years, not anymore. Placed an order, wanted to change one thing and question why the 30 % off online the item was not discounted. Tried to call, 30 minutes of generated music. Tried chat. Typed problem and instantly received a message about international order which I am not. Tried 2nd chat, same stupid message sent to me. 3rd try I emailed problem, never receved a email back. Good Bye"

order shipped and charged without my consent

"I tried to make a purchase in early december. There were a few days when you had both vendor discounts and an overall 20% off on the site. but your shopping cart would do in and out. Get stuck. I'd have to log back in over and over. Finally I gave up. A few days later I went back adn the vendor discounts were gone, so I paid more for virtually all of my items. I ordered them anyway.

then about a week later, I received the order again. when I went to my shopping cart my order was still there. It had not cleared from the prior purchase . You sent me the order, and charged my credit card, without my approval. I want a full refund. $339.06 This has happened before. and honestly it is just too hard to give you feedback.

Your shopping cart is often glitchy. In addition, even when I click, keep me signed in, i have to sign in EACH TIME!

I have been a loyal customer for YEARS. I'd like there to be options beyond Amazon, but you are making it hard, by having a crappy customer experience.

"I’m not sure why I got charged sales tax on this order. I’ve been ordering directly from Beverly International for decades and have never been charged tax on any of their products including the Ultra 40’s I purchased from Vitacost. Also when I tried to track my order on the Vitacost website my order could not be found. Really frustrating, plus an item in my order got cancelled due to out of stock."

My order was canceled by their "system" and they didn't even notify me!!!

"I placed two orders on Cyber Monday. The first was a large order with a total of more than $1,200. The second was much smaller, just over $100. I was signed into my account when placing both orders. I shipped the orders to different addresses, but that has never been an issue in the past. A couple days after placing the orders, I went to the Vitacost website to check the status of my orders. It was then that I only saw the smaller order listed. I checked my email and saw BOTH email confirmations for the two orders I placed, as well as Paypal confirmations for both charges. I contacted Vitacost and spoke to a customer service representative who told me that the larger order had been canceled by their system due to an issue with my billing information...but my billing information was stored in my profile and was unchanged. So how was my billing information okay for the second, smaller order, but not the first one?! It doesn't make sense and the customer service representative gave me no additional information. I rechecked my email and confirmed that no notification of the order cancelation was given. I've been a long time Vitacost customer and have spent several thousands of dollars with them through the years. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and that they offered absolutely no resolution, except that I could place my order again. DO BETTER VITACOST!!!"
