It's a trick to claim you can get a bonus or discount, once you spend a certain amount of money on the site.
The trick is not knowing how to calculate what is the expenditure they're using, is a real problem.

"I ordered 12 jars of a product. You accepted the order and then continually kept canceling pieces of the 12 piece order. Ultimately, after being canceled it started coming in from many different places and finally I got 14 jars. Go figure that one out."

"I ordered two bottles of probiotics and was informed via email that they would be shipped with a cold pack. I was asked to ensure that I brought the package inside promptly to prevent it from getting warm on my porch. I tracked the package and brought it inside as soon as it arrived. However, when I opened the box, I found that the ice pack was completely thawed and warm, and the products inside were also warm. I'm very disappointed, and I'm not sure if the probiotics are still good."
