"Vitacost has gone a little downhill lately. They used to be the best at packing orders, better than any online store. Then I received two dented cans of navy beans. They were packed well and the box had no damage, but each can had two significant dents per can and should not have been sold at all. My most recent order had a bag of buckwheat pancake mix with a 1” gash in it. It leaked in the box and made a mess. The order included boxes of soup. The corner of one of the boxes may have gashed the pancake mix since there was considerable space in the box with no padding to keep the bag of soup boxes from moving around a lot during the shipping. I also didn’t receive my shipment when it was supposed to arrive. When it didn’t show up, I checked the tracking the following day only to find a note that the driver attempted delivery but didn’t have the gate code. We do not live in a gated community! And no one had tried to get in touch nor had we ever received a new delivery date. Finally received the shipment two days after the supposed attempted delivery lie. What’s going on Vitacost?"

"Ordered product was out of date when delivered. Called customer service told me they could not ship another or refund my money until it was returned. They sent me a return tag, I shipped it the next day. One month later still no refund. Called back. Rep told me the refund was canceled even tho they received the product back. Rep said she would issue a refund in two days. Makes me wonder if vitacost would have issued the refund if I hadn't called back. "
