Cancelled without notice

"I placed an order and got an email confirmation. Saw the charge on my card. But never got confirmation of shipping and the charge fell off my card. But I wanted the vitamins. I called after a week with no correspondence and called. The girl I spoke with was very nice and apologetic. She said it was all in their end and to wait 2 hours and reorder. I went somewhere else to purchase. Very disappointing. "

Cheap

"They were wonderful during the pandemic. But post pandemic, when everyone seems to cut corners and get cheaper and cheaper, they started cramming their items in boxes so small that items inside often arrived damaged. I didn't give them only 1 star because their customer service has always either refunded me promptly or issued a replacement. But what happened to doing the job right the first time to avoid the hassle and additional cost? In the age of AI, we should get things right the first time more often, and everything should be more efficient, not less so. "

Failed autoship, Late delivery

"Vitacost promotes auto shipments, but mine failed to ship after the first month. I called customer service and they suggested my payment info needed to be re-entered. After confirming that my existing card info on file was correct and not the cause of the problem, the rep said my order didn't auto-ship because of "system changes" on their end. She offered me a 10% discount for my trouble, yet the discount code couldn't be applied to my order. I finally received my order a week later than needed, for the same price as I had previously paid on amazon."

The cart doesn't work on the website

"Vitacost has a problem with the shopping cart when you check out. It isn't always the most updated. I have had problems with my last 2 orders. Luckily they rectify it quickly, but the shopping cart and checkout process need to be fixed. "
