"Great company to work with. I have used other internet "stores" in the past but found wirefly to be the Walmart of cell phone prices and at the same time they gave me personal service that only would be expected from a high end store."
"Wirefly, Inphonic, Intelnet are all connected as resellers of wireless contracts. They fail to pay rebates as promised, even after the rebate has been approved for payment, the money is never sent."
"Very smooth and quick transcation. Easy number porting from my Tmobile to Cingular. Very happy with the purchase. Shall recommend the same to others too. A++++++++"
"Massive rebate fraud. I received the 2 cellphones as promissed and have had no problems, but the offer for full price rebate $340 has yet to be honored. Seems like this is a Huge problem. Tons of complaints about not getting the promissed rebated. Be careful. Your in for major headaches. BBB has removed them and DC attorney general has filed a lawsuit. I'm still waiting for mine after 8 mothns.
DC’s AG Sues Popular Wireless Marketer
Washington, DC - Attorney General Robert J. Spagnoletti announced today that the District has filed a consumer protection lawsuit against InPhonic, Inc., ("InPhonic") -- a DC based business that sells wireless phones and plans to consumers across the country. The District alleges that InPhonic fails to clearly disclose how difficult it is for consumers to meet its rebate conditions and that many consumers are unable to obtain promised savings.

I also advise you to write and complain to Inphonic (aka firefly) Their stock symbol is INPC. Also, go to Yahoo finance and place messages on the bulleting boards. This company has fooled a lot of people. Time to reap what they sow.
Power to the consumer.

"The company is terrible when in comes to shipping phones and providing rebates. Ordered two Audiovox 8900's which were both to come with $150 rebates. Ask to have my previous phone numbers ported to my new phones. This order became a nightmare for almost a six months. Phones did not arrive together and only received one at first. Took another two weeks to get the other phone. They did not port numbers and it took me almost 6 months to straigten this out with Verizon. It took me that long just to get one rebate, and never did receive the other. I contacted the company and even had a personal contact at their company who assured me I would get both rebates. Never did. I would be very careful in dealing with this company. Purchase at your own risk. The savings is not worth the hassle."
"Forget about geting a rebate. after several emails promising the rebate is being processed the rebate never being received. I will foward copy of the emails to the FTC, FCC, USPS, and the Florida Attorney General. This people are a bunch of crooks."
"After having experiences with other cellular phone providers, I've found WireFly to be the best!"
"Excellent service - fast delivery, good calling plan (much less than my previous service) - great phone. Keep up the good work!"
"We purchased a shared phone plan and 2 free phones. We are extremely pleased with the service that Wirefly provided. They answered promptly, were knowledgeable when they answered, and quickly resolved any issues we encountered. They cut our cellular bill in half with the plan we got, and the free phones were a bonus."
"My whole purchase experience plus shipping process is excellent. The cell phones were bought in Oct 2005. I received my final rebate check in the middle of Aug 2006."
"Wirefly kept me informed up to the date it arrived. Thank you for such good customer service!

"This was the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had on the internet. After experiencing a very bad customer service and having a pending order with Letstalk.com for over 10 days, I decided to give Wirefly a try. Their web site and the buying experience is the best. The email messages I received from Wirefly were clear and kept me informed of the status of my order. The all process, from order to delivery at my doorstep, took less than five (5) days. I am very happy with Wirefly and wish I had known about this company much earlier... it would have saved me the frustration of dealing with Letstalk.com."
"phone still does not have service- iwas told that I would have service within 48 hours and neither mine nor my wife's has service"
"These guys are terrible. I have never had a worse online experience with a more incompetent company. I placed my order on Sunday, two days later, they got around to telling me that they had a problem with my address and I needed to call them back. I called back within 15 minutes of receiving said email, and corrected the problem, and was assured by "Abdul" that my order would ship within 24 hours. The next day, I called back to find out what the hold-up was. I was promptly assured it would ship in 24 hours. Yet a third day goes by, and I call yet again, only to be assured yet again, that they would ship the phone in 24 hours. Their reps are friendly, but don't care aobut your problem, except to assure you that it'll ship in 24 hours. At this point, I'd cancel my order due to their gross incompetence and pay more for the same product elsewhere, if I actually thought there was half a chance they'd actaully get my order cancelled. It's been a week, and all this company will tell me is that it'll ship in 24 hours. I'm sick of hearing it! "
"I ordered from Wirefly/Inphonic before checking the reviews on ResellerRatings.com. BAD CHOICE!!
These idiots delayed my order, until I called to check what was happening. Only then did they tell me there was some complication with my home address. I straightened that out with the customer rep, who assured me (twice!) that everything was all right and they are going to fedex the phone ASAP. One week after I go to www.whereismyorder.com and see that my order was CANCELLED. No explanation whatsoever. WTF?!
The day after I placed the order, I called Cingular and inquired about Wirefly. The cingular customer representative didn't know about Wirefly on the spot, then he claimed he needed some time to do some research... After a few minutes (on Google, I suppose), he told me they're an accredited Cingular retailer and quite a big company.
As far as I'm concerned, Wirefly/Inphonic/Whereismyoder is a fraud."
