"Zenni provided Frames and Lens at a good price and for the first couple of years I have had a good experience with them. The last couple years have been terrible. For consecutive years, the glasses I have ordered have been made incorrectly and had to be remade. This year had been particularly annoying for many reasons.
1. When I first started ordering glasses, I ordered my and my partners glasses on the same account so there are 2 prescriptions. This year as there was a referral discount, I told her to create her own account to get her classes to use the discount, however, their system could not let the discount be used as the prescription matched the one from my account. Customer service basically told us that there was nothing they could do as even though they can clearly see that I was not the same person trying to take advantage and there was clearly two different prescription for TWO people.
I asked if they could manually apply the discount and they said NO and that THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO so in the end she was forced to get a different (chromatic) lens to apply the one time discount.
When placing the order for her glasses, we messed up on the prescription and called right away where the Rep. returned our order and we placed a new one with the same glasses with just a fixed prescription. As the discount was one time use I asked if they could still honor the discount price and the Rep. WAS ABLE to manually apply the discount.
The service is just terribly inconsistent and just don't seem to want to help.
2. I, myself ordered two glasses (which took 18 days to deliver; 4 more days then the maximum delivery time they state) this year and once again started experiencing headaches when wearing them like last year. I called to have both of them inspected even though I really only wore one as the other was sunglasses. Surprisingly to me, they found the sunglasses to be defective but the other pair passes inspection. I did not think they inspected them correctly as I clearly experienced headaches and slight double vision when wearing them and asked for a re-inspection but they denied as apparently there is almost no way is could be incorrect according to them.
3. In the end, they told me they could send it back or get somewhere around 70% credit for them as I had used my rewards points discount for them. I asked if I would have my discount to use again if I would receive credit to recorder but they said no. Just annoyed, I told them to ship the glasses back to be on NOV 18 to which they responded they they will send the tracking information soon which never came. By DEC I have still not received the glasses and called them again 3 times in the first week of Dec asking for information each time. Basically very time I would just told they would contract the shipping side; where they got no information from; and said that they could email be information regarding the return from 24 hours to the end of the day. Each call, they would say they are going to 'elevate' the situation which basically did nothing. After every call, I would receive no promised email information resulting in the 3 different calls. The second call Rep. also told me that they are still asking the shipping said but from the email, I should receive the glasses at the latest 10 DEC (which again is far passed 14 days since NOV 18)
DEC 10 has gone and passed, and once again I am calling customer service for the 4th time asking for information. Today is DEC 12 and finally they have told me they have gotten some information regarding the shipping and they have told me the order was SHIPPED on DEC 10. I asked why was the order only shipped two days again and was basically told they don't know. They told me it should be within, UPS shipping times (which they promise is less then 14 days), but when I asked when they should arrive at the latest, was told DEC 30. So basically, I should be ready to call them to ask why my order hasn't arrived sometime NEXT year.
Overall, I used Zenni because the prices are good. And in years past the quality has bee good was well. Just recently my experiences had been terrible. I am just starting my adult life and am finding the making all of these phone calls and having to personally keep track of orders because the company you are ordering from can't is just the most annoying thing. "

"Glasses were received with a flaw. I called customer service same day, I was asked to send a picture. A day or two later after I called & was told to send the glasses in and Zenni would in short determine how the damage occurred. Several days after sending the glasses & confirmed that they had been received by Zenni. I was then told that it will take another two weeks for them to make their determination. Product arrived to me damaged & they had poor communication. I asked for a refund. I do not recommend & I will not return."

"Great experience today I felt dumb explaining the issue at first bc I wasn't sure how they would respond. But we found a solution and they met me halfway and are leaving a note on my file so it's easier to follow up on. My glasses were taken by the mailman wo a return label. So I'm waiting two days to see if they are returning to y'all or me.
