"I brought a Western Digital Hard drive 320gb. It started to fail a couple of weeks after I recieved it. I called ZZF and could never get a customer service rep and their system told me that they were all busy and I should leave a message. I did and also e-mailed them directly and was never contacted. I was only able to contact them from an old e-mail I had after returning an item which was not as advertised from the same order. At the end they refused to refund or replace it claiming that it was out of the 15 day period which starts as soon as they ship it. This means that if fedex is late its not their problem. They set this up this way so that they have a better chance of you running out of time. Then they blamed their system which could not "process" it anymore (lies). They are plenty of other retailers and I seriously suggest you shop with them, I will.

"I ordered a laptop from them, figuring since they have always been fast before in my orders, that this one would have a similar outcome of fast service and shipping. I had planned on my order being shipped thursday or friday and getting the product before my trip. friday came along, after saying the product had shipped and I talked with fedex, they said they never got the package. I called up zipzoomfly and asked what's going on, they had stated it was in stock, turns out that they have to special order the item and they offered me a refund of my money, I agreed(this was friday morning for them). Monday rolls around and I have no sign of money credited to me. I call back about the same time and ask what is going on, they said basicly the same thing.. asked if I wanted a refund, I said yes. They also told me now that the laptop is on backorder from the manufacturer. I now have to wait until Wednesday to receive my money. I am posting this on the same monday, 5 hours later and the item is still stated as in stock. They need to update there website more, or hire someone to do it."
"I received an e-mail shortly after placing the order saying that there was a conflict with the address on my credit card. I have only one address and the address used was not mistyped in any way. Also, on the same day I placed an order with Newegg.com and had no problems whatsoever.
I was asked to call their customer service, and after several attempts, was unable to contact a human, so I gave up.
This conflict will be resolved, in some time, I am sure. But this is an unnecessary evil and one which I cannot condone.

I have since placed multiple purchases with ZZF over the years, and I have to say that their customer support has improved quite a bit. Not only does ZZF have great price, but their order management system is much better. Orders can be canceled online without any human interaction, which is a plus. Overall, a great store."
"REBATE RIPOFF!!
I ordered 2GB of OCZ memory from ZZF because a fantastic $60 rebate was offered. Now I find that the rebate was actually two rebates for $30 each. One of which ran out on 6/11/2006 and the other which started on 6/12/2006. Only one would be honored for $30, NOT THE $60 they lured me in with! Customer Service was politely unaccomodating.
I won't be purchasing anything else from this company. Stick with Newegg!

This appears to be s shipper (Fereral Express) issue, as the tracking shows the package has been in the local FedEx facility since 6:33 AM Jun 9, 2006. Have no idea why it hasn't been delivered. "I'm a little shocked to be honest. I've generally heard good things about this retailer. I've had a couple of good experiences with them in the past.
Back in May, I ordered a couple of sticks of memory, no big deal really. It's almost a month later and I don't have them! Still, my account has been charged, yet my email to customer service appears to have been ignored. The website says the order was shipped, FedEx says it delivered them somewhere (apparently not my address). Emailing zipzoomfly is useless, so I called up their service line to ask for assistance and left a message for them. Haven't heard a peep from them in a week or so, email or otherwise.
Perhaps they are flooded with customer service requests or something, I don't know, but the time to make a claim on the lost merchandise from FedEx is running out and I wanted zipzoomfly’s input on what to do. I haven't the foggiest idea where my memory sticks are and why this company hasn't bothered to lift a finger to assist! I'm extremely disappointed and will never stray from Newegg again... this was totally not worth the headache. I'm still out 200 bucks! Got a hold of FedEx and was advised to submit a claim.
