"I ordered an industrial sewing machine from Goldstar. I paid an additional $249 to have the sewing machine assembled and as a result I knew it would need to be shipped using a freight carrier. After a week I had no shipping confirmation or tracking. I reached out to get that and was given a tracking number that never worked, though it was clear that the "assembled" machine I ordered would be arriving in 3 boxes. I asked immediately how an assembled machine would come in multiple boxes and never got a response. When the machine did arrive, unassembled as I anticipated, I asked again and requested a refund for the assembly fee. I've asked for that refund 3 times now but have not gotten a confirmation. Ultimately I can dispute the charge if it isn't refunded, but it's not ideal to need to chase a company so much after such an expensive purchase. This sewing machine was more than $4500. "

"Edit 2: The correct part was received. It is unfortunate that it took 4 months for this to get resolved, but we are happy with the correct product and I have updated my review as such.
Edit: I was contacted by Goldstar Tool and they are sending out the correct part. I will update again when they are received.
I've had plenty of success with with Goldstar Tool in the past, but they shipped me the wrong product on a recent order. It was a mistake on their part, but I've been going back and forth with them for 4 months now and they are sending me in circles and refusing to fix their mistake and send the correct product. I keep getting "we will replace the product" but they never do. It finally shifted to "call us at this number" but I have called and called and never make it past whoever is answering the phone. I just get stonewalled there. Based on this experience, I can't recommend this company, though I would be willing to adjust this review in the future of they were to actually correct the situation.
