"I bought the press with the three grommet dies and 900 grommet deal. I thought the deal was for spring snap dies and snaps. I ordered a purple machine with black snaps. I received a pink machine with gold grommets. I paid $21 with UPS to send the grommets back. I kept the pink machine thinking we were going to just trade out the grommets for snaps. Long story short, big run around in the office with the office lady. I wound up paying a bunch of money more than I wanted to to get what I needed. And I was made to feel like I was a stupid a** for not sending the pink machine back too. I was also told that the office consisted of eight people and they were not Amazon and couldn't just jump on every little demand from a customer. Also I was told that they had plenty of customers and they didn't need to please everybody. I asked to speak to the office manager but that got nowhere. The snaps are a little on the cheap side. But all in all it's a nice little machine that does a pretty good job. If you don't have to deal with the office people for any reason.

"9:30 pm, you reef too hard on your vertical dial that has a factory stop at 6.5mm (just to see if it works) and damage the plastic cam that that controls height. You search the web for parts and come across Gold Star Tool and you send them an email asking if they can get the part. 15 minutes later the part is ordered. CEO David Akhamzadeh himself at 9:30 at nite answered my email, helped me with the right part and completed the transaction.

"They have great prices and great items, the problem comes if you need customer service. I've purchased many times as a business owner. This is the second time I've had an issue with an order and needed help. The problem is that the owner has not created a documented system that allows his employees to actually handle your issue. Everything must go through him. Because he's extremely busy you'll have to wait till he gets to you. He's the only one who can process a refund. He's also the only one who can resolve certain issues like the item we purchased being oversold. So we waited almost a week after the promissory delivery date for a resolution. He needs to learn how to create systems that have checks and balances so that his employees can be empowered to help customers while he can still view what's going on and catch any funny business. "
