"I have been using GS for my business for years, especially to purchase serger thread cones, as I buy so much and they have discounted rates for bulk buys. However, the thread chart photograph they have posted isn't accurate all the time. I recently made an order over $100, and more than four colors weren't even close to the image provided. I thought "that's fine, I'll just exchange" , boy was I wrong. I wanted to return $40 worth of thread, only to realize I had to pay for return shipping, which would be $38, on top of a 20% restock fee charged by Gold star . I would have literally lost money to exchange. Major bummer. "

RUN AWAY! BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GOLDSTAR TOOL!! I purchased a Juki-DDL-9000C-FMS from GoldStar Tool in August for $2500, David (the owner) sent me the lower end model Juki-DDL-9000C-SMS which retailed for $1899. My order has been a complete nightmare since the beginning. I was sent the wrong machine!! But it gets far worse…..the machine I received is designed for a 220v factory electrical setting, not your normal 110v home electricity as advertised. This has been an issue with others who have purchased from them as well! Every time I turn on the machine all my electricity shuts off after 30 seconds or so! My house is new, and I have several other industrial sewing machines that run all day with no electrical issues. David blames my home electricity and says it's not the machine and not his problem. Finally, this machine has thrown an error code indicating the pressor foot sensor is bad. Again, David refuses to make it right. I am sitting here with a massive paperweight, and I’m out $2500, this is their mistake to fix and make right. I want a refund or the correct model of machine I purchased. They refuse to admit fault, they refuse to AGREE to a full refund, or send me a replacement unit thats the correct model. I have no idea how they stay in business. If you do a quick search on eBay, Google and Facebook there are so many negative reviews about Gold Star Tool. I am absolutely not going anywhere and will not accept being wronged by this company simply because David and his employees want to be aggressive and intimidating. I will be taking legal action against GoldStar Tool if they do not make this right."
