"Mixed review. Had a difficult time placing my order. Complicated by the present practice of most cards these days needing to verify that you did indeed intend to purchase the said item. Time lag needs to be considered by the seller's site. Caused me a lot of confusion not easy to solve by two agents I turned to for help. Purchase itself: great. Mailed with excellent protection and arrived ahead of when I'd been told it would be. Ease of getting my new MacBook up and running: not good, because start up directions were confusing and contradictory and the first thing I should have been told was that the new MacBook was NOT running the most up to date version of Mac OS. You can't use the migration assistant if the old machine is running a NEWER version than the newer machine. I blame Migration Assistant for its lack of information being shown during the process, but this would have been very simple if my directions for a quick startup would have alerted me that this machine was not up to date. Still, I eventually did get this resolved and now am happy with my newer MacBook. Good directions are everything, and I didn't have them. "

"My purchase was affordable, shipped quickly, and had everything I needed to put new batteries in my laptops. My only issue and the reason I removed two stars is because MacSales has sent me no less than a dozen emails requesting a review. If after three or four ignored emails a company can’t get the hint that I’m not interested in leaving a review then I feel a less-than-stellar review may draw their attention to how much of an annoyance this is. I doubt it, though. "
