"Nice Shipping. For heavy Items, it's always good to have "above $25, free shipping". Can't beat the free shipping when the price is about the same. Had experience with the Buy.com third part offer such as "complete home" etc. It says for $10 gift coupons, but the process is awful.
Don't ever play with those third party related Gift Coupon Offers. It takes a lot of time and wastes a lot of energy.

"My husband and I where looking for a Nintendo Wii and found a great deal on buy.com. For two days after that we where checking on the order and all it said was pending. But by then they had allready got a temporary authorization from my bank and the money was being held. After my husband tried to email and call them several times about the status to no avail they finally sent an email saying that the item was not in stock and that they would send a similar item. My husband then called to cxl his order. My husband called them several times to release the funds and reached a line in india and they said they could not release it my bank had to and refused to give him the authorization number. It took me looking on the internet to find a us number which is not listed on the website at all to get the auth number and my money back. After seeing that this has happened several times to others i thought I would post their local number as it seems the us reps are better

Why sell things if they are not in stock seems like a scam to me. Hopefully you all can get your money back. If your transaction is pending cxl it now and get the auth number. Call your bank and give it to them so they can release the money. They will claim that the bank has a different number as to avoid you from calling them but this is not true. Good luck and dont do business with a company that does not list their customer service number"
"I received a wrong item, and I am very suspicious of this company after reading the other customers that have had problems with this seller. It is not just that they put the wrong thing in the box by mistake, but Buy.com actually used the same invoice number and changed the item to something much cheaper and completely useless. This looks like deliberate fraud, because I have an E-Mail that confirms that my invoice number 43020516 was for a Black & Decker #HS800 2QT White Steamer, but the package arrived with a Norelco Shaver refill, but the invoice that came with it had the same invoice number, but changed the item listed on the invoice to a different item. That is a very un-ethical bait and switch tactic. This Company has been un-responsive to communication to fix this. I am disputing this transaction with Pay Pal. I hope others can be warned of this company's deliberate change of the item ordered after payment confirmation."

-Send product back and took long time for them to ship finally got shipped on 10/8/08
-Received new product and once I opened box, I realized product is used and has missing parts and also wrong card.
- sent it back to buy.com and still waiting for replacement to day is 10/29 , which is 1 month and 5 days.
- there is no customer service. you only can communicate with mail and no human voice.
- do not buy anything from them, it will be frustrating if you get caugth in situation like this.

I placed an order last week and paid via PayPal - the PayPal account I've had for years and has been verified for years. Buy.com canceled the order saying the PayPal account was unverified. I sent an e-mail asking why and have yet to hear back one week later. Not even an automated response.
I just placed another order. I didn't realize that Buy.com had a MarketPlace now, but the item I ordered (a Wii bundle) is from a MarketPlace seller and the status of my order has changed a few times but I have yet to be contacted by the seller letting me know if this is going to actually ship. I don't have a good feeling about this."
"Buy.com seems to be going down hill. Placed an order with 2 day delivery. On the 2nd day received an email stating my order would not ship, unless I faxed buy.com a copy of my credit card and drivers license.
I emailed back buy.com to let them know I had just applied for a buy.com Visa card, and physically didn't even have the CC yet. They didn't care.
So, buy.com wants me to send my DL and CC info to a toll fax machine? Um, I think not. That's asking for identity theft. (Plus, how many folks have a fax machine, and why would I pay for the call?)
Buy.com wasted my time...oh, and you can't cancel an order 1-2 days after it's placed...you can only "request" that it be canceled. I guess since Buy.com didn't like my CC, they will hopefully grant my "request" to cancel the order since they won't ship it out."
