"Ordered A Jabra bluetooth headset using there Goolge checkout deal and free shipping. Never got the item dispite UPS tracking saying item was delivered. Called buy.com customer service and was placed hold for over 1hour and 15 minutes and told once they did answer I should be patient and that was not along wait. Are they paying my cell phone bill now or what? They then told me it will take 5-7 days to track down my order before I will get a refund or reshippment. I will never shop with them again and they still have yet to find my item. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD...."
"Purchased their Intel PRO 1000/GT PWLA8391GTLBLK (Bulk item - 20 pcs) x6, which is a total of 120 network card for roughly $3600. Shipped fairly fast, but when it arrives, I get a total of SIX nic cards... What a great way to make money!! Have tried customer service number for 3 days straight, each day I get, "We'll need to verify information from our distributer, we'll call you back today, latest tomorrow", and never receive a call back. One of them even suggested that I ordered the wrong item, that I did not ordered the BULK, but instead the individual nic (even though its clearly stated on the invoice) Finally got a hold of a supervisor today, who gave the same "We'll let you know by the end of today, at the latest next monday"."
"Ordered from them 12 days ago. Product has still not arrived and tracking number does not work. I emailed them about the tracking number and they basically told me I just had to wait without one. I live in California pretty close to where the buy.com office is located, and I find it unreasonable that it takes more than 12 days to ship a product a few miles away. "Ordered some DDR2 RAM on October 10 using "budget shipping" which stated it would take 7-9 days. Little did I know that this was "business days" and I have yet to receive the memory. Upon inquiry of buy.com, they simply stated that I have to wait. It's ridiculous to expect anyone to wait over 2 weeks for a product. This is not my first experience with bad service. One of my past orders was simply "lost" and had to wait over 1 month for that order. Needless to say, I'll be staying away from buy.com in the future. Please look at the ratings and buy accordingly."
"well this is the second time i placed an order with them using google checkout, the first time it wasn't to important and i just did the saver shipping which it came there in the time it said. This time, i ordered using google checkout again, not i needed this by around the 23rd of this month, in which i figured i would be fine, 3 days shipping, i have 6 business days there, but no, 4 days into my order it STILL has not shipped.
I messeged them and they said that google checkout orders sometimes take 4-5 days to process.....ok...you could have mentioned that and i would have taken 10 minutes to make an account and saved myself 3 days. totally unacceptable, any other website would have shipped out 3 days ago. nice customer service but theres things that they have to tell you.

"I've bought from this store just under ten times for their super cheap deals. I always use super saver shipping (free) which is not that bad. After several purchases, I found few to be sub-retail quality. However, it doesn't seem like Buy.com purchases gray-market or defective/refurb items for resale; some of Buy.com purchases may take longer than average to ship, while others come within 5 business days.
I never expect customer service from buy.com. From the hundreds of people I heard, customer service doesn't really exist. I just need to know that if I buy it and have any problems, I either deal with it myself, or deal with the manufacturer."
"On March 21, 2007 I ordered a Kingston Technologies 2GB SD card offered for $53.95 with a $49 rebate and free shipping. A GREAT deal. The product arrived 3 days later. I submitted the rebate forms on March 27 and received the rebate check on May 4.

"What use is a great price if you get no product? Ordered a monitor that was marked as "SHIPPED" in 2 days. Opted for ground shipping, 7 to 9 business days. 9 days later FedEx says it still has not received the item from the BUY.COM warehouse. "Yesterday, I placed an order for a pair of Pentax binoculars totaling $506 using a VISA credit card. This morning, I received an email from .buy.com staff stating that my order will not be processed until I fill out an additional form. The form required a copy of my drivers license, copy of a credit card and some additional information. I was asked to fax this copy to not even a toll-free number.
In my opinion this was too much work for internet shopping and I decided to cancel my order. After trying to cancelled online, the message said the order can’t be cancelled because it is too far into the process. I emailed customer service asking them to cancel the order. After about 8 hours of not getting any reply, I contacted customer service by phone. Eighteen minutes later I had someone on the line. I was informed that it would take 24 or more hours to cancel this order and the request will be submitted right away. The reason was that the request was already submitted to the third party. I was assured that my credit card has not been charged.
After calling my credit card company, I found out that there is a pending charge from Buy.com that effects my credit limit. About 15 minutes ago I finally got a reply that I have to call the third party (Adorama) myself and cancel the order.
To sum it all up, I was treated like a crook. Was asked to do some office work to satisfy their request. I was lied to by a customer service rep. I had to do all the work canceling the order through someone else. My advice – go to a more respectable site such as Amazon.com – in my opinion it might be worth to spend a little extra and be treated with respect, then to save a buck and be treated like s..t.

"I bought 2G flash drive at Buy.com with price after rebate of $5. My rebate was never honored due to company went out of business and their phone was disconnected. I e-mail Buy.com three times before finally received an e-mail saying that they can not do anything about it. They should not have advertised rebates that do not exist, and mislead customers about price. I would have never bought 2 GB flash drive for $60 if it wasn’t for rebate; I could have bought a drive for 100 GB for this kind of money. That was not the first time thay did not honor my rebate, as well as cancelled couple of my orders. "Terrible service. I never received my order from buy.com and after a week and a half of emails they decided to send me a replacement. However, they would not honor the rebate that came with it because the replacement order is outside of the order by date. Very hard to get through to India for their phone support...you have to email them to get the phone number for customer support. I foolishly didn't check resellerratings.com before ordering through them. I will never order through buy.com again; it is worth an extra few bucks for better service. "

"I made the order for microSD card on Sep 26th and i the status was "Sent to warehouse"... and i waited for a week the status was showing the same way...
After two weeks i called customer care.. it took me 45 minutes wait time to get hold of customer care. They told they are out of stock and they don't know the when they will arrive. She was clearly told that if you want you wait or you can cancel the order.
after waiting for 15 days.. today i cancelled my order.
