Very Bad

"This was by far the most horribly experience I have ever had with getting parts. I have been a mechanic since 1985, that's over 32 years. I have ordered parts from everyone on the web. I ordered my parts on 1-13-18, today is 1-24-18, I have nothing yet, that's 12 days. While I have one vehicle sitting broken down waiting on parts. I did some research and come to find out, these GM parts look like they are in their warehouse when you are on their website, but in reality they are not. Once you place an order, they have to go out and find your parts from multiple locations around the US, ship them into their place of business in NC, then re-package them, put them on the slowest UPS shipping available (that we paid for). Top it all off, they never said that I would have to sign for the parts so I now find out that UPS came yesterday, and left with my parts as there was no one home. Who has you sign for auto parts? Really? I am pretty sure that when the Circus left town they left these people to run this company. This was my first and last order with them. Trust me when I tell you the deeper discount(s) is not worth it, when I can get this same stuff off of Rock Auto, ebay and Amazon for a few more dollars and have my parts 2 to 4 days and 9 times out of 10 free shipping. "

This Place Is Worthless Shipping Overpriced!!

"I ordered three parts from this website and all I got was one part, and not to mention a wrong part and the other parts I guess they forgot to pack them in the **** packing they did which they charged $170 dollars for delivery that took nearly 3 **** weeks!!!! This website is **** pathetic!! They won’t answer their phone and they won’t respond to my emails, this place is worthless!!"

Terrible Service and Company Values

"My part was on "backorder" for over a month. I called them 6-7 times in regards to my order. It is THEM who have to update me with the status. After wasting my time talking to them, of course the order was shipped WITHOUT the order that was "previously on backorder but now in stock." Two of the three packages arrived on separate days. The tracking number provided to me in the email was only for one package. When the arrived I filmed the packages because I knew there was going to be something fishy. Only 2 of the 3 items were shipped. Only 1 package had a tracking number. I contacted GMPartsDirect and they somehow gave me another 2 tracking numbers saying that the other packages were delivered. But like I said, only one package had a tracking number. What is going on? Ripping me off and lying to me. If they said it's "USPS's fault for the order," why doesn't GMPartsDirect invest the time to find out or use their resources rather than me wasting hours and calls of my time to find out why only part of my order was delivered almost 2 months later?"

Over 3 weeks still no parts!

"Do yourself a favor and buy these parts somewhere else. Ordered the part, the never sent an email confirmation. After a week called back they said it was so screwed up they had to reorder it. Then go 14 more days till I finally call back and they say oh the part just arrived "we had to send the first part back because it was damaged" sounds like a load of crap to me. Supposedly sending it out today this place is a joke they're not even the cheapest place out there. I wish I had checked their reviews before I ordered from them never will again."

Beware!! very poor packing!

"I ordered a set of hub caps. They packed them in a used box that was so beat up they had to use an excessive amount of tape to even get it to hold it together. So of course by the time it got to me it was really beat up and 3 of them were damaged. I returned those and they tried again. The next ones came damaged also. They clearly do not understand how to actually pack something to keep it from becoming damaged. They want to get mad and blame it on U.P.S. They should get out of the online sales! To top it off they are charging me for the shipping!!"

Don't waste you time ordering from them

"Ordered parts from them, I emailed them after ordering to verify info on a part. Received an email back that day asking if I wanted them to correct my because the part I ordered was not for my vin. Order was corrected and then the order status showed on order for a week. So I called them the person that answered took a message and told me the person that handles order statuses would call or email that day well got nothing. Emailed the next day inquiring about my order status, got an email several hours later stating per website policy orders do not ship for 7 to 10 days. Called them canceled my order and that is the only thing that happened quickly within an hour my card showed a pending credit from them. I ordered the same parts on eBay got them within 7 days and cheaper with free shipping. So if you need the parts in a timely fashion order somewhere else or go to you local dealer."

wrong part customer service ****

"I ordered a cam for 2010 equinox. When it showed up it was totally different than the old one, all the lobes were at different degrees. Well on a cam there are numbers stamped in them between 2nd and 3rd lobes they are the last four of the part number the one I needed was 8300 which the box said 8300 but the one in the box was 4207 which is for a 2011 and is totally different. I emailed them asked about returning it they said yes i could with a 20% restocking fee. then I told them they shipped the wrong part they said it was right, i told them it did not even come close to what was in the car. I all so told them the numbers did not match on the cams they asked me to email pictures of the with the number on it. So I did they told me the numbers don't mean anything and again told me it was the right cam. they told me I was wrong and they shipped the right part. I told them to look up the part on there computer and they would see that the last 4 numbers of the part number was stamped on the cam. they told me i was wrong and they are right again . I finally got fed up with there bs I told them its pretty sad that even with them having all the access to the right info they still could not get it right and that its sad that a customer can do there job better than them with less tools. Needles to say I still havecam for a 2011 equinox due to this lovely piece of sh** business they should have laws for this. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE A******* AGAIN "

Be aware of core return!! They are not up front with customer pays for return shipping.

"I purchase a large item that requires a core return. They charge me $100 extra which most website does but they were not upfront in not providing a shipping label. The item of the shipping is so expensive it's just better just to get rid of it to a neighborhood metal collector. What is the point of motivating me to return an item that cost so much in shipping so I can get my $100 back? I email the problem and all they kept saying, it is the customer responsibility to pay for the return. Keep that hundred, lose a customer, and a bad word of mouth."

"Wanted pair of wiper blades , advertised for 30 dollars . Hidden in the message was the 36 dollars for delivery and when ups came , I was not home and my neighbour was told to pay another 33 dollars for custom and import fees !!!! Stay away from this crooks ! "

Told part would fit, yet it didn't. I still had to PAY SHIPPING to return the item....

"When I researched the part using the VIN number of my vehicle, GMPartsDirect directed to a part (16523228) for a License Lamp Cover, stating that this was the correct part to fit my 2006 Chevrolet HHR LS with a 2.2L L4-Gas. When completing my Billing and Shipping Info, GMPartsDirect states a VIN number is RECOMMENDED (not required) to “ensure the parts will fit your vehicle and improve order accuracy”. GMPartsDirect had already given me the Green check mark that this part will fit my vehicle. I then questioned GMPartsDirect about the wrong part, and they replied stating I needed a different part (than what was given to me). I had to PAY SHIPPING to return the item! I requested a full refund even to include the shipping I PAID for, and was only returned the original amount of the purchase.... "

Slow to ship. Outrageous shipping prices.

"Ordered a set of 4 center caps for my wheels. Product was on "ordered" status for a while and then went to "ready to ship". It sat at "ready to ship" for over a week. I sent an email, got no reply. I sent another and finally got a response that they were sorry and it would go out that day. I get shipment confirmation and a tracking number. After all of this delay, they charged me almost $15 for shipping and sent them out first class mail. I half expect them to show up in a standard envelope with no padding at all. Here we are, three weeks in and I still do not have my order. I have ordered from other online GM parts suppliers and never had these issues. UPDATE: My order arrived and was missing 3 of the 4 caps. I purposely ordered a part number that said (Qty 4) and someone opened the box and took three out, taped it back up, then shipped it out. Unreal."

Timely and good quality

"I had to replace one of the rear shelf speakers in my 2014 Cruze (my own fault for blowing it). I pulled out the old part, looked up the part number on GMPartsDirect, and they shipped it right to my door.

I was nearly scared off by a lot of negative reviews, but overall I had a good experience. It took 7 business days to get from NC to MI via UPS.

Almost scared away...

"GMPartsDirect.co is ran by Quality Buick GMC of Albuquerque, New Mexico. After reading several negative reviews, I was hesitant of purchasing anything through their website; however, I'm glad that I did. Their products were OEM GM parts and came fairly quickly with FREE shipping. I placed my order on 2/28/17 and it got to me in California yesterday, 3/9/17. Nine days is not bad at all! I window shopped through a lot of other websites that were cheaper, but wanted to charge me $100 or more for shipping. I am very satisfied and would use them again if I needed to. Thanks!"

What a waste of time. Dont buy here.

"I ordered a part for a friend of mine. On the 26th of Feb. Here we are 2 weeks into March no part. I called and asked what the hold up was and they told me there were only five of these parts in the nation so I believe them still waiting for the part call the local GM dealership said the part was readily available and could have it the next day terrible customer service very expensive shipping charge in this taking them over two weeks to get here and I'm still waiting"
