"they should rename this company---shabbyflowers.com. i will never order from this company again---no matter what they offer.you take your chances with a internet company and i lost when i contact this company for florist delivery.i will contact better business bureau---this company should not be in business!!!!! i wish i had read the review prior to doing any type of business with this company.on the day of delivery,this company called me asking for more money.when i wanted to cancel the order--they offered another arrangement.when the flowers did arrive--5 days after the requested delivery date--it was not the substituted arrangement.i ended up paying $60 for 2 flowers in a jar ($30 for each flower). i definitely did not get what i paid for!!!! this company is such a rip off."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!THEY RUN A SCAM!! We paid over $100 for a floral arrangement for a close relative's funeral. An arrangement one quarter of the size we expected arrived at the funeral home. The basket that the flowers were in was chipped. Many of the flowers were brown on the edges and no sunflowers were included, as promised in the ad. The basket was one-sisded and the floral foam was in clear view. The sympathy banner that we paid extra for, was not provided. The card was a plain index card, with no envelope and handwritten in embarassingly messy handwriting. We contacted customer service by e-mail. They responded by phone. I spoke to a representative for 40 min. explaining my complaints. I was told a manager would call the next day. After speaking to him, he offered me a very small refund. I refused and was offered less the next day by "Faith", another manager, who left 5 messages on my answering machine!! She informed me that I should have taken a picture! I let her know that it was not the place to take a picture... I was at a funeral!!! CALL ANOTHER FLORIST FOR YOUR NEEDS!"

"Delivered extremely late. No notice. Paid expedite fee. Poor communication, even after I contacted them to ask why the flowers I ordered had not been delivered 3 hours earlier as promised. Was told on 3 separate occasions that the flowers were in route. All lies. I finally got the name of the florist and contacted them directly and received the truth. The order was turned in at last minute and they were rushing to fill the order. Delivery truck had not even arrived, much less left for delivery. Justflowers.com customer service had NO CLUE or they were LYING!! Either way, they only offered to credit back $4.99! Horrible compensation for (FINALLY) delivering Anniversary flowers at 5p! I was told that had I called the florist directly, they would have delivered them in the morning and cost less. I don't mind paying a little more for convenience. This was definitely not convenient. I paid more, got less, and had to spend over an hour tracking down my order. I will never use again and I am seeking all forms of media to ensure they get the lowest reviews possible. I hope NOBODY ever has to deal with them. Very troubling that they showed up at the top of a google search. shows that $$ for advertising takes precedence over quality of service."

"I was very excited to order a very special fruit basket arrangement for my daughter's "First Day" of teaching ever and a new job. The purpose of the gift was made very clear by the message I included and they had all phone numbers to contact me if there was a problem. Not only was the arrangement not delivered as promised, the only way I knew was to ask my daughter IF she had received anything. I had to contact them to find out why it was not delivered (they had 3 days notice) and they never gave a reasonable explanation but offered to deliver it the second day with a note saying "Sorry" and take a measly 5 dollars off the 55 dollars price for a few pieces of fruit. Should it now say "Happy Second day of School???" Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I shall never use them again.
Good luck if you decide to risk it.

"I ordered flowers today for a special occasion for my daughter's business. I only ordered because they could deliver immediately, within 4 hours. Approximately 3 hours after I placed my order I received a phone call telling me that they could not deliver today after all; the store they were working with has too many deliveries. They offered to deliver tomorrow, with an apology note. I had to ask about the refund on the express delivery charge, which they said they would refund. I was going to cancel the order because, realistically, I could get anyone to deliver the next day. The customer service rep reduced the order by $15 if I could not cancel and have it delivered tomorrow. I agreed but it wasn't a discount she had immediately offered, and I had to "negotiate" the discount, which I didn't appreciate. I agreed to have them delivered tomorrow, but I am so disappointed that their ad was misrepresented. There should be a disclaimer stating that there might be a chance same day delivery would not be possible."

"I was shopping around online for a company that could deliver flowers to my girlfriend while she was doing a summer study program in a different state (she's been having a rough time, so she really needed something to cheer her up). Just Flowers guaranteed (both on their site an in a confirmation email shortly after) that they could deliver on July 3rd, a Saturday. I specifically chose this company for that reason. Not only were the flowers on the expensive side, but the service fee (which I could not see until AFTER I'd confirmed my order) pushed the price up past that of other sites that I'd looked at.

The flowers never arrived. I provided two phone numbers in case they had any sort of trouble and even indicated in the "special instructions" box that I wanted to be contacted if there were any problems. Despite that and numerous voice mails and emails after the flowers didn't arrive by their guaranteed time, I received no contact from the company until earlier today (Monday), telling me that they had been unable to find a florist to deliver the arrangement on a weekend. After calling customer service to confirm that the arrangement would actually arrive today, I received an email just late enough that I cannot actually get on the phone with anyone until tomorrow that the arrangement cannot actually be delivered today, but will be tomorrow.

Nothing has been offered in the way of compensation, no one has been able to provide any help or any real guarantee that the flowers will arrive on Tuesday (or ever), and the only contact they have initiated has been in the form of cookie-cutter emails simply telling me my order is going to be increasingly late.

I would advise against EVER using this company or any company associated with it, as you will likely pay a lot of money for poor customer service and late flower delivery.

"Ordered flowers for mother's 96 birthday with a delivery window of 6/19-6/20. It's evening of 6/21 and still not there. I was advised yesterday that they were on the truck and today that they were delivered. Not true. She lives in an assisted living facility with doormen and attended 24/7. I wanted to surprise her and that's not going to happen now as the poor thing has been waiting 2 days now. I order flowers several times a year and have never had a problem. This was my 1st and last experience with Just Flowers"

"So update I was asked to finish my review of flowers.com. After being promised by a supervisor that they would get them out the next day with no additional charges I received an email not a call saying this is the supervisor or anything but an email stating sorry we will have to ship the flowers. This was for my girl on vacation they were supposed to be there Tuesday. That would have made it Friday maybe cause they couldn't guarantee overnight delivery. Ridiculous. She came home Friday I went to my local florist and bought her some flowers and hand delivered them to her. They were nice enough to send me a coupon for $7.50 off my next purchase. Really you think there will be a next purchase? I could have driven down and delivered them to her faster! So my review I wouldn't use flowers.com for my worst enemies funeral.
Wow very horrible experience so far. Ordered flowers to be delivered on Sunday may 23rd for Today, Tuesday may 25th. I received a call from them saying that not only could they not deliver on the day they agreed to but in order to do the deliver the next day they would need an additional $20 dollars. When I called the first lady talked so much they wouldn't let me even get a word in to ask questions or see why they agreed to a price and date yet wouldn't stand by either one. I hung up and called back, the rep was nice and listened but I had to ask him 7 times before he'd let me speak to a supervisor. She was no help either saying that she would check tomorrow and see if they can deliver them. So far very unimpressed with these guys, I don't know why but I'm giving them one more chance to fix this problem...moral of the story. Don't over promise and under deliver. They agreed on a price and delivery date and couldn't come through on either one. Ridiculous.

"Another Mother's Day victim. Flowers arrived Monday. Just Flowers obviously knew they could not deliver on time and took advantage of people loking for same day delivery. They are overpriced and dishonest. I guess I should be glad that they delivered at all, judging from other reviews. They have wasted our money and time and caused major aggravation. They are very difficult to reach and offered almost nothing to resolve the issue. Never again!"

"HORRENDOUS - STAY AWAY THEY SCREWED US ON MOTHER'S DAY TOO. Order ahead of time, found out the day after they failed to deliver. Selected to reschedule for the next day for which they also FAILED TO DELIVER THE SECOND TIME and recevied the gracious offer of $5 off. I have received cancellation notice but believe they owe me much more than a simple refund. THEY SUCK."

"AWFUL - DON'T USE THIS VENDOR!!!!!!! We placed 2 orders, both were supposed to be delivered on Mother's Day. Neither was. One order was delivered on Mon and the second was NEVER delivered. Tried to call customer service for last 3 DAYS and was routed to an answering service (manned by people who do not speak English and do not have a supervisor) that took a message and promised a response ASAP!!! We left about 10 messages. Here it is Tuesday evening and we still have not heard from them. Further, the phone number listed on the credit card transaction is not a working number. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!!!"

"OMG! 3 orders none delivered on time and none delivered in whole. One was missing the box of chocolates and the other two missing the balloons. I sent emails to inquiry as I was supposed, paid the rush delivery fee, and left voice mail on customer service line after being on old for over 35 minutes, then 20 only to get transferred to a machine in which no one answers.
No call, no email, no response. HORRIBLE BUYER BEWARE.

"On 4/2/2010, I ordered flowers to be delivered to Westport, CT on Saturday, 4/3/2010 in honor of Easter. Midday on Sunday, 4/4/2010, I received an email that the flowers could not be delivered without an additional payment of $32. In talking with someone on the phone, I was then assured that the flowers could in fact be delivered on Monday at no additional charge. Then on Monday, 4/5, I received a phone call stipulating that the flowers could not be delivered even on a weekday that would be 3 days after the original contracted delivery date, without an additional payment of $15.

I cancelled the order, but remain very disappointed not to have successfully sent flowers to my sister and my nephews for Easter. I am also horrified at the poor business practices of this company.
