"Ordered three spindles of blank media used coupon codes that I found online. When I ordered the items I choose to just pick up the items from a near by location. The morning of the day my order was supposed to be ready for pick up I called just to verify what time they close and if it will be my order will be available for pick up. When I called I was told that I could not get the discount that had been agreed upon on the website. So I choose to just have the products shipped to my home. I called later that day and I called the customer service phone number and explained my case, and all I wanted was for my order to be mailed to me. For some reason the rep I was speaking to could not do this. I provided my phone number and was told someone would contact me within 2 hours. 9 hours later I received no reply; I called once again and was told that someone would contact me the following day. Three days after my order was played and withheld $21.36 on my account I received a call back and was told that the items I had ordered was now out of stock. They would make no substation. Now frustrated I cancelled out the order, now 2 weeks later I have yet to receive the credit on my account for $21.36. Very bad service. This could have all been avoided if on the website they stated that online coupons could not be redeemed in the store."

"I am a two-time buyer from Office Depot, and it was my first time ordering furniture online. I expected a headache, and instead found a very smooth and ultra-fast process.
On both orders, I received the furniture only 2 days later, made more amazing by the fact that I wasn't charged for S&H.
There isn't much more I can say about Office Depot other than the fact that I will try and stick to them for my online furniture purchases. Not just because of how satisfied I was with those two orders, but also in comparison to the sloppy and/or poor service of two other online sellers I have tried since then.
As for prices, not the best in the scene, but quality is more important. Their selection on the otherhand, is not as vast as some other places I've seen."
"I originally placed my order on 6/6, and it had an anticipated deliver date of 6/10. After not
receiving it on 6/10, I was told it would be delivered on 6/14. Several more days went by, and I was told it was backordered and could take 3-14
days for the warehouse to receive. I then noticed my credit card had been charged on 6/17. When I inquired about this, I was told that the item was discontinued, and the charge would be credited back to me. This took over a week and several more emails to actually happen. I will not be buying from Office Depot again."

I got an email cofirming the order, all is good, then I got another email saying "Hey you're order is all ready to pick up at the store" so I say good, and drive all across town and get there. "I'm sorry, this offer is invalid, but we have all these other cameras here to sell you" BS!!! Bait and Swap!!! I said this is bait and swap, they said, no it's not, it's an invalid offer. I said you offered it, you sold it to me, you charged by credit card, you confirmed the order, and you sent an email confimation saying my order was ready, and I came to get it. I hate OFFICE DEPOT!~!! Go elsewhere you will ALWAYS GET SCREWED!"
"Officedepot is a typical large corporation. I made an order with them and they sent me a confirmation with no tracking number rather they give you a 1-800-number to call to get information on the whereabouts of your purchase.
To me this is rediculous. Why not just supply the user with a link so they don't have to waste their time calling a number and waiting 10-15 minutes for the whereabouts of your package.
Officedepot is not customer orientated. They haven't a clue what makes customers happy. "

"These guys offer low prices but you must mail in a rebate form. I bought 2 separate items last December. I filled out the form, attached the UPC code and gave them a copy of the bills. Almost 6 months and nothing. I contacted them and was given the royal run around. No one seems to accept any responsibility. I sent them a copy of the bill but was refered to different departments. This is the last time I will buy from them and warn others. There are lots of other stores selling similar items."

"ship there often, three reasons: 1/8th mile from my home (very convinient store pickup), frequent coupon availability and reliable rebates. Rebates do take anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks, depending on the manufacturer. Store pickup is used 95% of the times unless item is not availabe in the store then they ship. Purchased tons of Maxtor Hard Drives and PNY RAM from them - PNY rebates took over 2 months to get but all arrived :). Store clerks are always friendly to me when I pick up my items, I do not think I ever shopped there instore (only store pick ups). I do not like that Office Depot/Tech Depot separation, but it is part of the game I guess. Overall, satisfied."

"Buyers Beware!! I placed an order for a Maxtor 160GB hard drive on March 20th, 2004. The receipt showed a scheduled delivery date of March 26th. The 26th came and went, with no hard drive.
Upon calling Office Depot's Customer No-Service, I learned that they cancelled my order. How convenient... They didn't even attempt to notify me of this cancellation. They just cancelled the order without even telling me. Entirely unprofessional, to say the least."
