"I have placed an order for a KM AF lens which appeared available online. I called and verify in person before placing the order as well. Two days later I received an email requesting my "previous" address. Having moved few months ago, with reluctance, I provided the info. Also, called them to ask why. They said they have verified my new address with my credit card company and got approved for the purchase but... Two days later, I got a call this time asking me to fax copies of my drivers licence, credit card and a copy of my lease, etc... I canceled my order.
I asked my friend who has business five minutes to their address to go and make the purchase for me. He walked into their under-the-basement-stairs office and verified the stock and placed the order with his credit card in-person. They suggested that they could directly mail it to my address for the convenience. Two days later, they ask him to verify address with his credit card which he did despite of the stupidty level it already they already achived. Two days later he gets "the call" asking him to fax the copies of... well, you know what... When he told them he in-person preented his card and ID to place the order, they accused him of lying... Buying a car with a loan is much easier than buying from them.

"Ordered Athlon 4400+ from Page on Tuesday night because they were the lowest price I could find for the ADV 89 watt verson of this chip. I received my order on Thursday. And it looks like the correct one. While Newegg and Coolguys comunicate better, I'm still waiting for my orders from them. Page charged for Fedex up front this worked out nice. "
"I ordered a motherboard and CPU cooler from PageComputer first thing on a Thursday morning and specified 2nd-day UPS shipping. The first weird thing was that I received an email requesting that I confirm my order. The request was caught by my spam filter because the sending IP address appeared on a blacklist. (If I had not checked my spam folder it would have been overlooked.) I replied to confirm but heard nothing back to indicate my order was now on track. I eventually went to the site and used their online chat facility to be sure my order was still progressing. The online representative couldn't tell me very much about it. The order didn't actually ship out until Friday evening. I did receive the order on the Tuesday afterward, and everything appeared in order. The up side was I saved about $10. The down side was that I was a little bit in limbo until I received my package. I guess I've been spoiled by other online retailers that provide more immediate feedback."
"1st I have to say that people in this country have become so impatient. The number 1 complaint I read on here is that everyone wants tracking numbers yesterday, and their product they day before yesterday (you know what I mean). If you order from Page, sit back, count the money you saved, and your product will arrive, just give them time. PATIENCE is how you save money and how they offer better pricing. Don't rag them for not being a newegg or zipzoomfly. They don't want to be. (I'm glad, because I would have paid much more).
I have seen the negative comments on this store. I agree only that the website is hard to understand when it comes to inventory, that is where my negative feelings end.
Page Computers has to be one of the most business friendly computer companies I have EVER dealt with. I purchase many laptop and tablet PC computers. Page happened to have one of the lower prices on a Toshiba Tectra so I decided to save some money and give them a try. I purchased from page a year ago and had a great experience then. Well the Tablet PC came BEFORE my tracking number was supplied! No shipping and was factory sealed and well boxed.
The Tablet PC failed and I had to RMA the Tablet PC. Well Page Computer cross shipped me a replacement NO CHARGE after I provided proof that I indeed shipped the defective unit. No other company I deal with has offered the cross shipping offer. I was floored at how well I was treated. I feel this company is just a few notches short of being one of the best available.
A few things that would make Page Computers the BEST.
Shorter hold times for Customer Service.
Quicker updates to order status on the internet site.
More updates VIA email about order status.
A little more information about inventory status and a little more product information in the product descriptions.
The employee's are top notch and VERY VERY nice."
"I ordered two of the same items online from Page Computers. The seller I spoke with using their online chat service assured me that I was buying the correct product. I found out before the package arrived from FEDEX that the product was not correct. Someone else I know received the exact same order from Page Computer and told me that it was not as described on the Page Computer site nor was it as a Page Computer employee described about the product. I chose to refuse the shipment from Page Computer. (They have since updated the product description on their page!)
Employees from the store told me in email that I would receive my money back on my credit card after they verify the item as returned to sender within 5 - 10 days. After 10 days passed, I again tried to contact Page Computer through email and phone. The times when they didn't hang up on me on the phone, they told me they would contact me on the phone later in the day, but that has never happened. Whenever I have spoken to them on the phone the employees have been courteous, and I have been pleasant with them as well. It's been almost 2 months, they obviously will not return my money (over $200!)"
"Ordered three items. One item was not as advertised (a $15 camera battery that was the wrong power rating), but this company still wanted to charge me a restocking fee. I was given a phone and e-mail runaround for a few months and finally gave up. I didn't return the battery, because I won't give them the satisfaction of having a new, unopened product while only refunding part of my money. Page Computers gives abysmal service. "OMG! This company is a joke! this is by far the worst experience ordering online I have had to date. Do yourself a favor and buy what you need off ebay over these morons. Ive had better luck dealing with crappy sellers on ebay than here. They do not respond to emails, do not even acknowledge your a customer. the only time they ever contacted me was to confirm the info on my credit card. after that, you never hear from them again. So basically, "Give us your money and we'll ship your order when we feel up to it." As of right now, my order is being shipped, but had to threaten them with contacting the Better Buisness Bureau to get any info from them. Steer clear of this one, your better off paying the extra 3 or 4 bucks and go with a more established company like newegg.com . for the life of me, i cannot figure out why the search engines like pricewatch give them a good reseller rating, because after doing extensive research on Page, i found that Im not the only one. By the way, if youve already tried their "online chat support", you will already know its not working. No one ever answers it, just like their phones. "I placed several orders with a number of online suppliers to get all the items I needed for a project. All of them (including Page) immediately sent a confirmation email for the sale, with the order number. By the 10th I had RECEIVED all items from every supplier, but Page has not even STARTED the shipping process yet! The status is still in "Invoicing" stage. I paid with my CC and have confirmation from Page that the order was in.
I will not buy from them again... there are plenty of GOOD suppliers out there that won't hold on to my money until they finally get around to shipping an In-Stock product.

My experience was somewhat frustrating...but eventually VERY SATISFACTORY. The tracking numbers supplied didn't ever work, and I received no other confirmation of shipment until called on January 26 (only 9 days) by the trucking company that the delivery was here. The printer arrived IN GOOD CONDITION, EXACTLY AS ORDERED, AND IN A TIMELY MANNER.
I have returned one part (my fault, for ordering the wrong thing). THE RETURN WAS EASY.

"I was a little skeptical to order a $500 video card, given the recent reviews: I’ve bought from page in the past, but it’s been a few years. I was in no hurry, so I went ahead with the purchase of an ATI Z1900XT. At $476.00, it was the best value I’d seen. My order was placed with ground shipping: Order placed 2-6-06. Verification email received immediately. Later that day, I decided to change to 3 day shipping. I sent a message through the site customer service, indicating my invoice number and to please change shipping to 3 days business as well as authorizing the change in cost. I received an email within 12 hours confirming the shipping change. On 2-7 I received a shipping notice with tracking number. On 2-9 (2 days later), I have my card in my machine. Well packed, all peripherals, which surprised me, considering it’s an OEM card.
For anyone leery about buying from Page computer, ask yourself three questions: Can I be just a little patient regarding email notification of each process? Will it hurt me if I don’t have my order next week instead of this week? Do I believe everything I read (meaning this, or any other reseller review)?
Anyway, my experience was good. The biggest difference from Newegg or Multiwave being I didn’t receive emails of every packing & approval process. Of course, I haven’t had a return issue, so I can’t declare Page a Newegg beater. (A little joke).
