"In 2009, I wrote a glowing review for GKG. Unfortunately, things have changed dramatically since then. GKG is experiencing an erosion of its customer base. In response to declining revenues, the company has cut costs. They have achieved this by removing features from their already bare-bones control panel. With fewer features offered, they have fewer features to support and thus lower costs. Today, there are much better places to register a domain."

"I searched Google Shopping for a computer component I wanted and identified several vendors with similar pricing. After eliminating those with no seller ratings, I examined NextWarehouse, PCNation and Provantage. Unfortunately, these firms use e-commerce platforms that are not very secure. So, I chose to spend the extra four dollars to order from Cost Central, which uses a very secure ordering system. I easily opened an account and placed my order on a Saturday. I received an email confirmation immediately and was able to track my order from the included link. My merchandise shipped from the Tech Data warehouse on Monday and arrived on Wednesday. Based on this experience, I heartily recommend Cost Central."

"Rarely in life does one find something that is truly outstanding. A handful of natural landscapes, architectural works and entertainment performances I have enjoyed come to mind. My experience doing business with these people is another. If this sounds incredible, then I've made my point. They are just unbelievably good. When I shop online, I always search for coupons. After finding one for Houser, I felt guilty about using it, because this company actually deserved the extra money. I hope you have an opportunity to see how good they are, too."

"I have done business with B&H for many years, but had never ordered from them online until now. Their procedure for opening an account and placing an order is the best I've ever seen. Their prices are absolutely the best to be found anywhere. Order notifications are excellent. Shipping is immediate and merchandise is very carefully packed. B&H is about as perfect as anything ever gets."

"There's nothing to really distinguish this vendor from their competitors. Their prices are not particularly good. Neither is their website. They had what I wanted when I couldn't find it anywhere else. That was enough for me to do business with them. Given a choice, I'd prefer to buy elsewhere."

"I went searching for an apparel item online and as a result found this vendor. They offer an incredible selection along with tools to help shoppers narrow their options. Ultimately, I found it helpful to use my browser's search function to find the specific product I wanted. Since there was no rating here, I searched for reviews at other sites. Surprisingly, what I found were extremely positive comments in forums from owners of t-shirt shops! I placed my order and received it in an extraordinarily well-packed shipping box. The product was as advertised and notifications from the vendor were excellent. The order was shipped directly from the warehouse of one of the largest apparel wholesalers in the nation, just as the posters in the forums had mentioned. For excellent products at incredible values with an outstanding ordering experience, I highly recommend JiffyShirts.com."

"After doing business with Adorama years ago and reading the many glowing reviews here, I placed an order for two HP ink cartridges. Despite both items showing as being in stock when I ordered and receiving an email confirmation of my order, I also received a backorder notice for one product the same day. The first item was shipped and arrived a few days later. The cartridge was in a thin envelope that failed to adequately protect it and as a result, the product package was crushed. It was necessary to open the product box and the airtight packaging to inspect for damage. There was none, but the cartridge is now susceptible to premature failure before being placed into service and depleted. The invoice enclosed with this first item showed that I had been charged for shipping of both the delivered item as well as the backordered item, thereby discouraging me from canceling the backorder. Adorama shipped the backordered item and it arrived a few days later. Upon opening the shipping box, I was alarmed at the shelf-worn appearance of the product. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the cartridge had expired six months ago! I called Adorama and got a return authorization. Although all products were shipped to me by parcel post, I was forced to return the defective product using UPS, which appeared to me to be a tactic to discourage the return. Adorama then replaced the expired cartridge with a new one. I do not recommend doing business with Adorama. Their operation has become very slipshod since I was their customer years ago. The worst part of my experience with them is that they play "gotcha" with customers in subtle, passive-aggressive ways. These tactics may help them to increase profits, but they do not build customer loyalty. Response to Jerry Greenbaum: Although you trumpet your paid return of the expired ink cartridge you sent me, that is the minimum response expected by consumers in today's competitive environment. Selling and shipping a defective product, then failing to replace it, possibly constitutes wire and mail fraud. So, don't congratulate yourself too heartily on your compliance with federal law. No, I don't think you wanted to mess up. I simply reported here for the benefit of others that you did, nonetheless. Everyone in business knows of the incumbent advantage. Unless you improve your attitude toward those who support your business, you will see them gradually leave. For the record, I did not get a full credit. I did not ask for a credit. Nor did I write that I got a credit. To suggest otherwise is deceitful."

"Warning! As I was completing my order at shoppingcart.purehealthsystems.com, the online shopping cart gave me a total. Then, when I clicked "place order" I was presented with a total that was an increased amount! This is a classic bait-and-switch ploy. The final price given during the ordering process is deceptive. The actual price presented after accepting the merchant's offer, is different! There is no way for customers to actually determine the cost of their order, with shipping at this site. The merchant offers a settlement contract and the customer accepts it, then learns they've been had! My complaint to the business owner produced a direct lie from him. Additionally, he didn't think his business practices were flawed in any way. Go elsewhere! There are too many other online merchants to buy from who are reputable."

"I left a glowing review for On-Disk.com back in 2009. How things have changed! I placed an order on May 10 and On-Disk.com debited my card for the full purchase price on May 12. Then nothing happened. For two months. After On-Disk.com failed to respond to my communications, I disputed their charge with my bank and was issued a full credit. The bank also forced me to replace my card, so On-Disk.com couldn't charge it again. I have offered to participate in any criminal investigation of On-Disk.com. DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE!"

"Reading the reviews of this merchant provides an interesting insight into the values of customers and how they respond to similar events. After searching for a supplement I needed on Google Shopping, I found Lucky Vitamin to have the best price. In fact, the pricing they offered was actually lower than the wholesale price the manufacturer charges health care professionals who buy direct! So, I opened an account and ordered a dozen bottles. I immediately received an order confirmation by email. Two days later, I received another email notifying me that my order had shipped. The order then arrived two days after that, very well-packed in its shipping box. Lucky Vitamin obviously uses a just-in-time inventory model. Given the total absence of available floor-plan financing in today's market, this only makes sense. Personally, I appreciate getting the freshest product possible. I'm comparing this with the reality that perishable products held in inventory lose their potency. If they're held too long, the seller must discard them, write off the loss and increase prices to cover the loss. I'd also like to point out that I found Lucky Vitamin to take a very conscientious approach to doing business. They use the most secure technology available for their site, unlike many of their competitors. In addition, they don't store credit card information, thus eliminating the possibility that a customer could have this information stolen. This too is very unlike many of their competitors. I had a very pleasant experience doing business with these folks and look forward to placing future orders with them."

"After finding the lowest price at Google Shopping for Berkey water replacement filters, I placed my order with The ALERT Store, which also offered free shipping. I received email confirmation of my order immediately and a shipping notice the next morning. Three days later, my order arrived. I was amazed at the care with which my merchandise was packed. The ALERT Store isn't just a profit-making enterprise, it's operated by a Christian ministry. The caring displayed toward customers is very evident. The ALERT Store has my very highest recommendation."

"After finding the lowest price on the item I wanted at Google Shopping, I placed my first order with MotherNature.com on September 9 and received an email confirmation the same day. Two days later, I received an email shipping notice. Shoppers should note that this merchant sends these shipping notices a day after their order has shipped. So, if you haven't received notification that your order has shipped for a couple of days, just be aware that this is the way the systems at MotherNature.com are set up. The next day, I received my order, all the way across the country. Surprisingly, it had been drop-shipped from California! I took advantage of a coupon offer for free herbal soaps when I ordered. They were made in China and with the latest warnings in the news today about tainted baby formula from China finding its way onto shelves, I discarded them. I personally wouldn't recommend using this offer, as I had to pay shipping on the "free" product."

"After finding the lowest price for the products I wanted at Google Shopping, I placed my first order on September 9, taking advantage of the $5 discount for first-time customers. I received an immediate email order confirmation and a shipping notification five hours later. I received my order two days later, on the other side of the country. One thing that amazed me about doing business with iHerb.com was that the shipping cost indicated on the mailing label was more than the amount I was charged. When was the last time you saw that? I have the highest praise for this merchant and recommend them highly."
