"I want to share a terrible experience on AliExpress. I ordered a multimedia device for my car and asked the seller twice if it would fit my model. He confidently said yes. However, when the device arrived, it turned out that it didn't fit. The seller insisted that I didn't know how to connect it. A specialist handled the installation and confirmed that the device was indeed incompatible.
The seller behaved horribly, speaking to me rudely and disrespectfully. I opened a dispute, and AliExpress decided that I had to return the item. And then the circus began! I live in Denmark, the package came from the Netherlands, but I was told to send it to Russia! Why Russia? Why not Africa or India? I didn't order anything from Russia, and it's physically impossible for me to send the package there due to sanctions and non-functioning postal services.
I lost the dispute despite four appeals. AliExpress responded like a robot, saying that I didn't send the package on time, and therefore a refund was impossible.
The device was from the company Tyes. My advice: don't deal with them if you don't want to lose money. This story shows that AliExpress always sides with the seller, even when they are wrong.

"AliExpress Scam: A 4TB SSD Turned into a 51GB Fake
I purchased a 4TB SSD from a seller on AliExpress. After receiving it, I tested it with small files, but when I attempted to store larger files, I discovered a shocking truth: the SSD only had a measly 51GB of usable space. It was clear that I had been scammed with a fake product.
I immediately contacted AliExpress, outlining the issue and requesting a refund. However, I was met with an automated response stating that the "buyer protection time" had expired, and the payment had been released to the seller. Therefore, they were unable to help me recover my lost money.
This response is utterly unacceptable. AliExpress's inaction leaves me vulnerable to dishonest sellers and undermines the platform's credibility. I am not only out the cost of the SSD, but also deeply disappointed by the lack of support from AliExpress.
I demand a full refund for this fraudulent purchase. I urge AliExpress to take immediate action to address this blatant scam and protect its customers from such malicious sellers."

"I ordered two wigs on Ali Express, and both wigs sent to me were the wrong size. I immediately opened a dispute with Ali Express, and Ali Express told me to return the wigs and that the sellers would reimburse me for the money spent on shipping.
I sent the wigs within two days and paid over $400.00 to return them. Even before I did this, I got a quote and told the sellers, and they said the shipping price didn’t matter and that I was to return it. Ali Express also confirmed that I would get my money back for the shipping.
Once the wigs arrived in China, UPS advised me that both sellers refused to arrange for delivery of the parcels and abandoned them. I wrote to Ali Express right away, and they said I still needed to wait for the parcels to be delivered, which made no sense because both sellers abandoned their packages, and UPS said they would dispose of them.
After over 100 hundred messages, one of the sellers issued me a refund, but it was only for the cost of the wig, and no shipping was included. I reached out to Ali Express, and they said they would issue me a coupon for the value of my shipping costs and asked me to submit proof of what I paid—which I did. Ali Express said I needed to wait seven days for the coupon.
It has been weeks of waiting, and Ali Express still has not sent me a coupon for my shipping costs, nor has the second wig been refunded to me. I received an e-mail from Ali Express recently where they said that I need to negotiate a price with the seller for a shipping refund, which none of this was explained to me before sending the wigs back to China. The sellers refused to refund me for shipping costs, and one of them has yet to reimburse me for the wig value, even though I returned it, and they refused the parcel.
Now, I am out of $500 plus dollars because Ali Express and the sellers both SCAMMED me! Ali Express refuses to return my shipping fee as actual money or a coupon. They keep sending me robotic messages and telling me to wait, only to receive a generic e-mail saying I need to work with the seller. I have told them hundreds of times that the sellers are not cooperating, and Ali Express still doesn’t care.
Why would the sellers tell me to return something knowing they would never accept the parcels? It is one big scam. Ali Express is in the business of scamming people, and everyone should STAY AWAY FROM ALI EXPRESS! They need to be reported for fraud and theft of funds because that is what they have done to me and hundreds of others.
We, as consumers, can spend our hard-earned money on so many other sites. Temu is similar to Ali Express and has better customer service and products. They would never allow customers to spend money to return something to them. Even Shein is good with customer service and returns.
AVOID ALI EXPRESS AT ALL COSTS! THEY WILL SEND YOU FAKE ITEMS, WRONG SIZE ITEMS AND STILL NOT REFUND YOU EVEN AFTER YOU RETURN THE ITEMS TO THEM."

Seller starts off with sending me a message saying my address is incorrect(!). Bunch of clowns. Then, when I wanted a refund on the item, as it was not as described, AliExpress and FIVE AliExpress agents simply lied, and told me that it will be taken care of. Each agent read from a script stating the exact same lies. The Seller was supposed to pay for shipping. Shipping with tracking cost five times as much as the item! Seller didn't bother to respond to me. In that case, AE is supposed to step in, and issue me an AliExpress coupon to cover my cost. But they simply told me that someone will email me back. Twice they told me that. No one from AE ever emailed me back. They simply waited till the return window passed. Then they simply closed the case. I appealed, but they rejected my appeal. I buy lots from AE, Amazon, and Temu. Amazon and Temu have been great whenever I wasn't happy with the item. While AE is happy to just give you the run-around, and hope that you will just give up, and go away. Bunch of fumb ducks. "

"Way too much risk. Sellers lie, packages don't arrive and getting them to stick to their "guarantees" is a nightmare.
They don't use normal carriers. They have cheesy companies that use random people to deliver.
They refuse to bring packages to indicated spots (even with large signs and arrows), and often leave them in vulnerable places to be stolen.
So many of the listings completely misrepresent their products. I have used them for about 6 months and I'm done.
I have been manufacturing goods for over 50 years and buying wholesale. I have never had SO much trouble. Packages never arrive, are missing products (one courier slashed open a package and took all of the gold items)."

"I bought a used Intel Core X9100 processor from the CPUIT store. I asked the seller many times to send me a working processor. But I got a processor from them that doesn't work. A very good service center was unable to install it and/or get it to work. The seller categorically denied a peaceful solution to this problem and insisted that he thoroughly test all the processors, and now I myself have to prove that this used processor does not work before he will accept a return. He did not bother to answer me quickly, put off solving this problem in every possible way and only at the last moment answered with short general phrases.
I started a dispute with AliExpress, as a result of which they demanded additional evidence, such as videos of scientific experiments and reports from official service centers with all seals and signatures valid for China. But it is obvious that no legal document I can obtain will be useful in China. I had to close this dispute and start a new one, saying that I just want to return this processor in the packaging that I received. But AliExpress only agrees to a very limited number of days to start a dispute, and what the situation will be with returning the processor without strong legal evidence to China is obvious. Now I have no working processor, no return address from this seller, no money, no trust in AliExpress. This is a clear violation of the fundamental rights of customers in any country other than China. With AliExpress you will be deceived by very experienced combinators."
"I bought a processor in the CPUIT store using ALIEXPRESS. Intel processors are very complex products that only a professional center and professionals can work with. I entrusted all the work to excellent professionals with many years of experience. The professional service center gave a clear conclusion that the processor I received from CPUIT STORE is not working. The document I received from them and provided to ALIEXPRESS clearly states the serial number and model number of the processor.
I asked the seller and ALIEXPRESS to process the return of the processor. The demands that I receive from the seller CPUIT STORE and ALIEXPRESS for a refund are a clear mockery and a violation of fundamental consumer rights. At the first attempt, the ALIEXPRESS dispute system states that possible necessary evidence may be a certificate from the service center (certificate of non-repairability), confirming the presence of problems (technical malfunctions) with the product. On the second attempt, the ALIEXPRESS dispute system asks for a high-quality video demonstrating installation, processor settings and various tests.
I would like to add that no complaints about the way this "CPUIT STORE" seller communicates and how the ALIEXPRESS dispute system handles such situations is simply not enough to describe how buyers are deceived in product descriptions and ridiculed during disputes.
The CPUIT STORE seller writes “enjoy 7 days of returns” and "one year of warranty", which is a clear lie in their attitude towards me and their customers. I immediately started asking for a refund the day after receiving the processor. To which I received a strict refusal."
