"After ordering my shoes in Dec. 2007 and not receiving them, I have fought long and hard to get my money back. I went to the NH attorney General & the BBB. It took them 3 weeks to get the money back. All in all 6 months later my card was credited. Please go to the NH Attorney General's web site and file a claim.
GOOD TO KNOW AS OF June 17th The store has been closed down....

"MyShoeStore.com is the worst shopping site i have ever seen! They are obviously fraud and i have no idea why it is still existing, they should go to jail for cheating so much money!

i ordered two pairs of shoes on April 2nd, which were supposed to be gifts for my friend to be shipped overseas,and are in stock!!!! At the mean time i also ordered some jeans from Levi's and clothing from Aeropostale.Money instantly taken off from my credit card.
When everything esle has come, i still hear no news about the shoes! i emailed the them and got the reply on April 21st!!was told that 1 pair is not in stock, and 1 pair, will be shipped instantly.
The shoes not shipped would be refunded, as they told, but i didn't see any trace up till now.
As for the shoes that shipped and i did get at the end of April is not new at all. I emailed again to return it. And they say ok, return label will be sent to me. No response in 2 weeks. And i emailed again and again and at last on May 21st, which is almost 2months later, i get the return label. and i returned it!
Ever since, they disappeared, no reply either to email or i have never reached them through the phone.
No refund anyway.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK, THOSE PEOPLE SHOULD REALLY STAY LIFELONG IN JAIL!

"My husband ordered some shoes, and then canceled the order. He was promised on the phone and by an email that he would recieve his refund in 30 days. We still have never received a refund. I have emailed the company 5 times and he has talked to them 3 times. We are always lied to. It's been furstrating and a waste of our time. What they state on their website is false."

"WORST ON-LINE BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER1

I sure made a big mistake by not reading these reviews first. I too have been duped. Placed a shoe order 1/8/2008 and never received any status. I emailed them on 1/29/2008 and was told the order was cancelled and that I would receive a credit refund within 30 days. Note that I had to inquire to get status.

Since then there have been many emails back an forth and apologies and promises but I still have no refund and it has been 5 months!!!

I reported them to my credit card company today for investigation.

"Having successfully used MyShoeStore a few years ago, I thought nothing of ordering from them again, without checking on resellerratings.com first. BIG mistake.

----------
1) On 14/03/08 I ordered a pair of shoes that appeared to be in stock.

2) After waiting a week without receiving a shipping notice, I emailed asking when I should expect to receive my shoes.

3) MyShoeStore (AKA Lord John's Footwear) responded that the shoes were backordered and would take a further 3 weeks to arrive.

4) Knowing that these shoes were available elsewhere for a similar amount, I immediately cancelled my order (on 21/03/08).

5) I received an email confirming the order cancellation and indicating that I would be credited shortly.

6) It is now 09/05/08, 8 weeks since the initial order and 7 weeks since cancelling it.
No refund has yet been received despite weekly emails to them and their replies promising that the issue has been "sent to the refund dept. and that I will be refunded shortly".

7) Having no faith that I will ever receive my refund, the matter will now be passed on to my credit card provider instead.

"This is obviously a fraudelent website. I ordered two pairs of Havaiiana flip-flops from this company. I received 8 order confirmation e-mails indicating my order had been received. The confirmation indicated it could take up to 30 days to have the merchandise I ordered delivered. I used my Bank debit card to place the order on their site. They did post a $1 pre-auth the day of the order, however, it fell off the following day and the charge did not go through. After doing some research of the company and finding out its reputation. I cancelled my debit card today and e-mailed the company telling them to CANCEL MY ORDER IMMEDIATELY AND THAT THEY WOULD BE REPORTED. I received an e-mail back indicating I would hear from them within five days. Hopefully, by cancelling my debit card, I have prevented them from debiting my account. Do Not Order from This Company ~ It's a SCAM!!!!!!!"

"This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. I placed an order on 12/7/07 for a Christmas gift. Credit card was immediately charged. When I called a week later to check the order status, I was informed the item was on backorder & would not be in by Christmas. Consequently, I cancelled the order. I have been trying since January to obtain a credit to my credit card. I cannot get Jason to even acknowledge he has received my voice mail messages. Customer service representatives were very rude. I will be contacting the NH Better Business Bureau."

"I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on Dec. 23 that were supposedly in stock and received only one pair in the mail. I called on Dec 28 to ask about the 2nd pair and was told they would not be receiving them, I should cancel my order. I did that and was told I would get a refund in 30 days. I started calling again in Feb.and each time the site said the store was closed. I finally got through today and spoke to the same woman, Miranda, who said they have been having problems with their credit returns. She said it would be a week or two to get my money back. She transferred my call to "Jason,the shoe store manager" and of course, I had to leave a message. I left my home phone number and said I expected a call back. After 4 months of no response, I would encourage NO ONE TO ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE."

"This company is a scam. I ordered winter boots from them on Jan 18, 2008. I ordered from them because they advertised they had the product in stock. They did not! I received an email like the others stating I would get my boots in 30 days. on the 30th day (business day) this was Feb 29th, 2008, I still had not received my boots nor any communication from them that they were to be delivered. I canceled. I still have not received my refund as of March 26, 2008. I called and was telling the girls who work customer service I wanted my refund now or I would contact the Attorney General's office. They immediately transferred me to a voicemail of a manager. When I called back several times they kept forwarding me to a voicemail (that you cannot leave a message). I have emailed these people many many many times. They hardly respond and usually with automated response. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE GOING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. "

"I placed an order with MyShoeStore.com on 1-20-08. My credit card was charged on 1-22-08.

OK, I started checking on their website using my order number at about two weeks with no information available other than what was stated in their confirmation email. I emailed their CS and got an automated email stating, "We will respond to your email personally within 5 business days." That's ridiculous! I gave them 5 days and this morning I sent an email telling them to cancel the order and refund my CC immediately. The response,"We will respond to your email personally within 5 business days."

Do not order from them, run, run like the wind.

UPDATE: I just received this email;
In reference to your order # 153870, placed on 1/20/2008, this order has been cancelled. Please retain this e-mail as confirmation that your order has now been cancelled.
Your refund will post to your credit card within 30 days.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

"SCAM is probably the way to describe LordJohnsFootware.com. Credit card charged immediately, even when item not in stock. I was suckered in for a 20% sale of Earth Cosmo boots that everywhere else charged $228 -- I was expecting a $45 deal. We made 3 calls during the 73 day wait only to be advised today to cancel the order. Phone waits for more than 20 minutes and promises the first 2 times starting 6 weeks after the order. Don't expect a response from the email status request on the web. Don't believe them, "will ship within 10 business days." Refund promised by the next credit card cycle, a.k.a more than 30 days."

"Well, it's odd. I initially submitted a review on 11/18 after I had heard nothing for a week and a half. The review never appeared, but I got an email the next day saying my order had never shipped due to problems with their system the weekend of the 10th. The order did ship the next day and I got it a few days later. So it ended up okay. I don't know if it was truly a system error or if action was only taken after resellerrattings sent my info to LordJohns/MyShoeStore. Since my credit card was charged on 11/12, i kind of wonder if it's the latter. So mixed review at this point.

Update 3/11/08:
Although I was one of the lucky few to actually get merchandise, I am still being sent junk emails from these guys, even after repeated requests to be removed from their mailing list. I have been forwarding them to "****@****" with the hope that maybe that would get their attention. But no, the junk emails still keep coming.
